  1. Nickie, I've seen this before and love it. All of the liberals thought he was one of their own, but he fooled them.

Nickie, I think I know who you are. Please email me. If you don't ... I will keep quiet.

Jeez, Woody. Now I'm scared. I'll email you!

  3. I live in one of the most progressive, 'regressive' states in the country, Oregon. I know all about earth muffins, tree huggers and the fairies that have screwed up our environmental policies so badly that it has cost us thousands of jobs. They stopped us from using our own natural ressouces and want to kill the coal, oil and nuclear industries.
I was a logger in 1980's and have had many personal encounters with these nut cases. They think nothing of driving long metal stakes into the trees we were LEGALLY harvesting(not old growth)so your chainsaw blade could literally explode when it hit the spike. I survived seven of these incidents. A couple of my co-workers did not. Enough said.

I have also watched ths before. Stupid leftarded liberals are killing this country. Vote them out of office in 2010!

    Nickie,
Thanks for visiting my blog and taking the time to post a comment.
Hope to see you back. It is a slow work in progress and I am in the process of writing my first post.

Adult language? I haven't even commented yet. I am an old Carlin fan from way back even though he was a lib on a lot of fronts. But ... a true comic and, what do you know, funny. That is great stuff on the environment. I remember Rush dug this up after Carlin passed away.

Aww, I like that. "And so we are here. For a little while..." He had a nice outlook and a wonderful sense of humor. I wish I had seen more of him.

Patriot, thanks for your testimony. My mumbled cosmic "Can I get a witness?" was heard by you.

If you need help on the blog, ask here in the comments section. There are blogosphere all-stars who visit here, and you'll be knocked out by their generosity with technical information.

DC, I often put this on (supposedly in the background) when progressive chums compromise my front door.

Opie, you're much too young to remember Merv Griffin.

  9. Great post, Nickie... as Woody said, it was always funny to watch Carlin break the liberal mold and show some good ol' American common sense once in a while.

Sol, I love the latest post to your blog. I have to link to it.

  11. Nickie - Please feel free to link it... I'd be honored. Thanks for the props.

I was literally laughing out loud (or LOL as the kids say) watching the disparity between the two sides.

Carlin was an American original. He was a comic in the day when liberals were funny and could identify with the majority of the country.

  14. Always enjoyed that piece. HE's the only entertainer I know that understood--and was willing to condemn the increadible hubris of the eco-nazis.
see ya when you get back from fishing.

  15. Nickie. I watch that every couple months. I love it.

My favorite excerpt "We can't even take care of ourselves - we don't know how to care for one another and we're GONNA SAVE THE F PLANET ???"

I downloaded this video from youtube, using the Firefox add-on Download Helper which gives you the ability to download all sorts of media from any website.

Just in case youtube deletes this vid, I will have it on my hard drive and several backup drives and can play it when I'm 97 and still laugh like hell.

Rest on my blog. Hey, I gotta post something over there now and then.

  16. I should mention I don't share George's concept that humankind will simply fade away as any other species has over time.

But I just have never had a quitter mindset. I'd be like Monty Python's Black Knight, and I have been on occasion - but without the loss of limb.

  17. This is classic George! He makes a whole lot of sense, and this is a laugh riot! I'm glad you put this up Nickie.
