I'm just gonna post a few pics from this impressive gathering of Patriots.
These folks were not shy about loudly voicing theirsalty advice whenever the names Reid, Pelosi,
Schwarzenegger or Obama were mentioned.

The organizers made a real effort to remind us allthat we were in Fresno. This guy was one of the
most enthusiastic cheerleaders for political action.
Opie shocked organizers by leading the entire throngin an impromptu and spirited rendition of
George M. Cohan's Yankee Doodle Boy.
Opie cornered Congressman Tom McClintock anddemanded his promise to stand firm against Cap 'n Trade.
Opie offers to purchase a FREEDOM T-shirtfor a bewildered homeless man. He finally
settled for two dollars and a bag of Cheetos.

After hustling dimes from the assembled patriots (with tales of his exploits at the Battle of Cancun), he scurried off into the glaring sunlight. I did hear him mutter an adieu that seemed to include the words Hope and Change.

ReplyDeleteI've been part of McClintock's Phone Townhall meetings. I have never, ever heard him dodge a question. If you feel he's ever made a mistake, He'll either honestly defend it or admit he's still learning. I've never heard him pass the buck. He is a Conservative !
