Don't lose your focus!
In the very near future, the American public will be bombarded with news of a crisis on every front. The Sunday news shows will be trying to nail down answers to explain all manner of disasters on the horizon. The White House will say little and the demands for action will grow and grow. The focus of Americans will diffuse from one central issue to 5 or 6 issues. And Socialist healthcare will be passed sneakily under the smokescreen provided by Rahm and President Hussein.

Keep focused. Don't stop faxing, writing, emailing, phoning and speaking out against this cynical move. The Democrats are working toward causing fatigue within the opposition to ObamaCare.

They keep resurrecting mass emails about gun control bills. The bill in question was stalled in committee early this year. This only happens when health care legislation looms. There is a conspiracy. But not a vast right wing one. Unless you want to call the wishes of the American People a conspiracy.

ReplyDeleteI almost couldn't break away from the word "FOCUS' the lady is holding up. Agreed on the way they will crisis-up the day - and the 'news' will report every word. One is reminded of "so I married an axe murderer", where the lady reads the Weekly World News and calls it "the paper". So too today's media.

Exactly, Bill, this is Alinsky through and through, but we've seen it all before, we just can't fall for it this time. Also expect the red herrings to be about things we do care about (like the CIA investigations), so keeping our focus will be a challenge.

ReplyDeleteIt's called a feint or misdirection. I was watching a documentary on the Nisei soldiers, the 442nd Infantry Regiment, and their heroics in northern Italy. Their famous assault on Mt. Belvedere was a feint to deceive the Germans into abandoning fortified positions to the east. It worked.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that just plain ole vigilance will pay off. The dems have the deck stacked and they know which cards to play. Right now they have to be made afraid of the consequences if they do. They all need to be smacked a few dozen times with a rolled up barbed wire fence post and then have their face rubbed in a wood chipper.
