It probably does make you mist up to see an old flame like that falling for another man, Nick. My condolences ...

Barky, compare that to Obama's reaction.

  12. Thanks, Nickie! Not only for sharing the video, but for everything you've done for this country. I'd thank you like the dog did, but the hubby may have issues with that.

Black and Gold... I love the sentiment, but it's kinda creepy coming from a photo of Jack Lambert.

Someone (can't recall who) said "A dog is the only animal who has seen his God".

I take it to mean, not the master or mistress, but the capacity to be THAT happy.

    Oh, to be a dog...

  18. I must be an old timer, the first thought that came to mind was of Homer coming home from his travels and his dog being the only one to recognize him as he was dressed like a beggar.

  19. The dog went absolutely bonkers because he was so exited. The dog definitely appreciates and loves his owner. What a welcome home...

  20. I view domestic and possibly all animals as permanent 3-4 year old kids.

The emotions and intelligence are about the same. And each has a different and unique personality.

They are a wonderful gift on this rock flying through space.

  23. What a wonderful welcome. Completely unrestrained, unfettered by any fears of appearing too emotional. Just pure unadulterated joy.

  24. Oh, that's BEAUTIFUL!!! That's just beautiful! That's loyalty & love with wild, reckless abandon.

We could learn a thing or 2 here, no?

I saw somewhere dog is God spelled backward - for that very reason.

This has made my night. Thank you - & God be with our troops.
