  1. Serves the bastard crocodile right, walking around on the backs of the hippos like that.

Hmm. I heard hippos were dangerous. Well there you have it.

  3. Somewhere out there in my mass of esoteric reading I read that ancient Egyptians were more afraid of the hippo than the crocodile.

Read once that hippos kill more people in hippo habitat than any other animal.

Iggie, it's the same way that Liberals walk all over us.

Rhod... In California there's a 10 day waiting period on purchase of a hippo.

Gator just didn't know his limits, and paid the price for being ambitious. You know, when your stomach are bigger than your brain.

That's a preview of the Texas defense getting a hold of (or "aholtof" as we say down here) Fla. in January ... hopefully.

BTW, aren't those animals unfriendly to their fellow travelers. Where was the PETA lawyer ready to file an injunction before that hipster had a gator po-boy? I object.

  10. Sooooo, when's Obongo going to take another apology tour in Africa? Got just the place for him. Lots to see and plenty of wildlife to apologize to for the way we messed up the climate.

I'd change the Repubbie Elephant to a Hippo in a heartbeat if that happened.

Scalawag, it's clearly a more dramatic example of swatting a fly.

DC, the thing that bothered me most was the resemblance to Thanksgiving at my former mother-in-law's house.

Sig, I've been lobbying for a new GOP mascot for years. At least ever since the Dems dumped the donkey and adopted the Tapeworm.

  14. Tapeworm? That's someone who watches too many tapes, right?

It's really not fare to the tapeworms to make such a comparison.

  16. That´s an amazing shot of what looks to be the rare, but arrogant Crockobama crawling along the backs of some irritable Hippopublicans.

  19. WOW.
I will never mess with hippos.
And remember, if hippos were outlawed, only outlaws would have hippos.
Though they would be far harder to carry and conceal...
