For The Space-Minded

THE MILITARY IS COVERING UP FIREBALLS FROM SPACE! Watch out for incoming bolides and fireballs...although it might be a good way to get out from that under-water mortgage.

    Whoa!! Blast from the past!

I barely remember that party. I wonder if DC has those boots?

DC was a little chunky there. That's the usherette from the Pigs in Space Convention.

  4. Rhod, I sense jealousy because DC has a super suit and a date...

The party is a fog to me, but I recall Nickie (dressed as one of Santa's Elves) leaving with that very young lady, promising something to do with pork.

LL, it wasn't an elf. I was supposed to be Robin Hood. I drove away in my green Lincoln dressed in Lincoln Green.

Gordon? I was at his side during the Boxer Rebellion. Dear old Chinese Gordon.

  11. Ah, yes, Khartoum:

Rhod escaped in mufti with instructions for the relief force before the fuzzy-wuzzy's scaled the ramparts.

Nickie had to stop for tea every day at 3 pm (Served by Opie), and was unable to lift the siege in time - but he was a proper gentleman on that campaign. DC (Nickie's bat man and apple polisher) was there as well in a supporting role.

One Apache gunship would have ended the fight then and there -- but it would not have been in good form.

Nickie's bat man and apple polisher! LOL.

Funny how they always find a Mahdi to justify their barbarism.
