Coakley Gracious in Defeat

GNN - Senate candidate Martha Coakley, with the manners, poise and style typical of old Massachusetts Democratic public servants, this morning watched the poll returns and with a wry smile, conceded that the best candidate won.

Sons of Gondor, of Rohan, my brothers!
I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me.
A day may come when the courage of Men fails
When we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship
But it is not this day
An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the Age of Man comes crashing down
But it is not this day!
    This day we fight!
By all that you hold dear on this good earth
I bid you stand, Men of the West!

That pic is Coakley when the Kennedys came a-callin' after the returns started coming in ...

Hey, glad to hear she conceded. That is a relief.

  5. Good thing the concession to Brown was over the phone, because in person would have seen Martha's goons pushing Scott to the pavement prior to her conciliatory remarks.

  8. At least it all was settled last night. I was in fear of six month drag out of the whole thing; ala Franken.

  10. Thank God for His hand in this miracle. The Progressives have hyjacked the Democrat party and if the Blue Dogs don't push the party to the right they will be done for for decades.

  11. I so enjoy the smile inducing jabs here. Nothing like a little snark on the march back to freedom to take the mind off the chores yet to do and the ongoing slog through the ruff to the goal.

  12. Can't wait until they have a total count and we have a number on the dems who voted for Brown! Is the left ever going to be pist!

  13. I was busier than a ten peckered bull in a cow pasture at work today but the thought of last night's victory brought a smile to my face. What makes it even sweeter is that the dems are blaming each other over the loss.

This finger pointing frenzy resembles a Three Stooges smack fest with straight edged razors.

    wooo wooo wooo!

Wouldn't you love to be in on the quarreling and ass-covering taking place at Dem HQ?

  15. I am glad that she conceded and didn't drag this on for months. The crank went down semi-gracefully.

I love seeing the shock on these libtards faces.

  18. Is that the nurse from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest?

  19. There is something extraordinarily predatory about Nurse Ratched (played by Louise Fletcher - a fine actress). Whether she is offering to give you a cookie, an aspirin, an enema or a frontal lobotomy there is a special air about her that scares the crap out of me.

Once again FNC - Greta Van Frozen Grimace has a line up of idiots. Had to turn it off once they started showing the PSA for Haitian Aid with the First Wookie hooting at us during every commercial break. Are we proud of America yet? Stamp yer hoof twice for yes, once for no.
