Just wanted to mention that since some landing gear from one of the planes was propelled into the building that the adjecting adjective wants to use for the islam celebration center site, and went through many of the floors, that site Is Ground Zero, not 'Close to Ground Zero'. fwiw.
So can someone explain to me how if we allow a "mosque" to be built near ground zero, that will lead to sharia law for all of us, whereas if we move it several blocks or miles uptown (as Gingrich has suggested) sharia law will magically be averted?
Or better yet, how about you show me the mechanics of how allowing any faith to build their temples will lead to their religious law being forced on all of us, because I sure as hell don't want Mormons outlawing coffee and booze.
