Happy Birthday to current and former Marines the world over ... and to all who love them, share their love of country, and are claiming both foreign and domestic beachheads in defense of liberty.
I was NOT involved in WW2. I was one of those cold-war Air Force pussies who supported (work near the plane mopping up) aircraft throughout my enlistment in the 80's. Can I get a pass?
Never met a Marine I didn't get into a fight with. Them fuckers can fight! Nice thing about losing: They would buy the beer. This really helped with the pain.
Not just American heroes.
ReplyDeleteHeroes to the free world.
Amen, Zio
ReplyDeleteI went ashore to make sure it was safe for the Marines to land... notwithstanding, I wish the Corps another happy birthday!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Marines! God bless and keep all of you as well as your brothers-in-arms.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Marines and Thank You!
ReplyDeleteI am proud to share the malls, streets and churches with Marines. They are the superstars of our team.
ReplyDeleteLL's, right. I was there. But Happy Birthday DC, and all jarheads everywhere.
