Oh Just Shut Up

These Hollywood types don't get it. All they have to do is say words that they tell you to say, cash the checks, buy the mansions, the yachts and diamond watches and keep their mouths shut. But that's too hard to do.

Emily Blunt can't shut her dumb pie hole. Neither can Seth Rogen.

They cost their people millions.

H/T iOTW.

In this case, I'm happy she bleated off. Now she won't be considered so much for the potential next movie.
I'm equally happy I never hear a damn thing about teh dixie chicks.
I'm happy they reveal themselves as libtards and that a lot of people vote against them by not going to watch their movies.
Ditto jennifer lawrence with the recent libtard brain dump.
Apparently, libtard is not the majority it appears and I'm happy about that.

Now if Trump would just shut the hell up. Criticizing Carson over his religion is just anti-American (Carson's religion is not islam, else I'd have the opposite reaction)

PS, emily sure as hell isn't good looking either. I would not want to see her step out of a shower.

I hope that the producers and investment/backers for those movies sue the daylights out of them. I miss the old time stars who just looked at their work as a job they were lucky to have. The entitled bozos of today have no such control over their egos.

Suing is a good idea. It's how the libtards have goteen as far as they have. They sue everything American or capitalist. It's time to fight fire with fire.

Yea, it's really disgusting to see these people have no respect for another opinion. They don't even realize how fascist they are. Eventually they will when, as Comrade Brezmanov says, a military boot crashes into their fat bottom and they realize that their beautiful dreams of equality in marxist leninist America work out for them.

PS, If it were me in the business, I'd have it in their contracts that if they made any political statements - At All- they don't get paid.

I'm with Kid. I love it when they blow it. This actually used to pay, somehow, long ago. No more. I suppose as self-hate we have been taught, along with white guilt, and all the other crap they tried to push on us is tossed, these things will change. Look, projection. I think a lot of these stars really do hate themselves. If they want to go after themselves, give away all their wealth, dump on their culture and slice of society, go for it. Just don't project it onto the good and humble people. No longer buying that.

Yeah, that would be cool Sig. The problem is, the movie bigwigs choose these people as much based on their hatred of America and Americans as on anything else. More so than skill, beauty (as Kid noted), or such. They can't sue the monsters they have made.

Still I like Kid's idea that their salaries should be tied to the profits. They do get a percentage of the gross, I'd make it the net...

It is a bit like having a chevy dealership that advertises for Toyota. Or plain jane comment - If you make political statements, you're going to piss off and potentially alienate 50% of the customers.

That's just stupid. And completely unnecessary. It is kinda surprising it's allowed. Maybe it makes hay for them in foreign markets ?

Sure, Sig. But the execs in those industries are on the same page with those actors and actresses. It's a requirement to get gigs. And, actually, telling them to shut it would be rather un-American. Seriously. I just love that the truth gets out and hurts them. Hollywood, on the big and little screen, is crashing. Perhaps something will be rebuilt from that ashes. Something Americans can enjoy.

Kid,

I think it used to pay. Good, bad, just spell the name right. And, for a long time, that was true. I would say right up until the crash, which is ongoing. People are awake and aware, and realize how devastating this anti-Americanism spewing from every US institution, public and private, has steered us onto the shoals. People who don't have jobs due to American and foreign hate of America and Americans are realizing the problem. Too late? Yeah, but they don't have to buy into anymore. Yeah, it just doesn't work like it used to work. That's all.

Well, either the American movie-going public is avoiding those movies as some kind of political protest, or (more likely) they are avoiding those movies because they just aren't very good films. The people I know who go to the movies often probably don't remember (or maybe never even knew) what a particular celebrity said about a particular issue. If you're going to read politics into everything, then what does it say when some other vocal liberal has a hit movie, that suddenly the American public approves of him or her?

I think it's a matter of film quality and the star. I know I refuse to buy anything containing Jane Fonda; but to tell the truth, I don't pay much attention to today's stars. Perhaps the actors know that they are in a bomb and speak their minds since they know the film won't make any money anyway.

Left or right, conservative or liberal, everyone has a button to be pushed before they act on matters like this. Some buttons require very little pushing...
