Obama's Spies

These idiots just never learn. Trump makes a supposedly outrageous statement, the dems and their puppet media go crazy, and then they get it stuffed down their throats. CNN (who else?) starts the parade:
President Donald Trump made a stunning claim Saturday, alleging without offering evidence that his predecessor, Barack Obama, wiretapped his phones at Trump Tower ahead of the 2016 election.
Counter claims of "No proof! No proof!" are quickly voiced by the usual coterie of anonymous former Obama officials.
But two former senior US officials quickly dismissed Trump's accusations out of hand.

"Just nonsense," said one former senior US intelligence official.

Another former senior US official with direct knowledge of investigations by the Justice Department under the Obama administration said Trump's phones were never tapped.

"This did not happen. It is false. Wrong," the former official told CNN.
But apparently there was indeed a wiretap, an eavesdropping warrant, approved last October in order to examine the activity of several persons in the Trump campaign. From Breitbart:
A number of ex-Obama officials appear to suggest that the Obama administration may have actually wiretapped the Trump campaign, but that if they did it would have been justified by a court and part of an investigation by the Justice Department—not led by or ordered from the White House or the former president himself.

On Saturday, former President Obama’s spokesman Kevin Lewis denied that the former White House or the former President himself would have given such an order to wiretap Trump Tower—or any other type of surveillance in any case—but that such an order would have come from an “independent investigation led by the Department of Justice.”

And once again the Donald knows what he is talking about.

Drone Swarms Are Here

It's here. The US military can throw hundreds, perhaps thousands of drone at you; they are synchronized and coordinated. They can talk to each other and perform pre-defined tasks.

Build The Wall

Of course all illegal immigrants (aka criminals) are not satanists. But those that are...
Two illegal immigrant members of the ruthless MS-13 gang were arrested in Texas this week and charged with killing a woman as part of a Satanic ritual, according to reports.

The El Salvadoran suspects, Diego Rivera and Miguel Alvarez-Flores, allegedly killed a woman they were holding hostage in an apartment when she spoke out against the group’s devil worship, ABC 13 reported.

After the woman, known only as “Genesis,” made the comments, Alvarez-Flores — the group’s ringleader — attempted to give a lit cigarette to a Satanic statue as an offering.

But he said Satan wasn’t having the offering, telling his fellow gangbangers that “the Beast” wanted a soul instead, the station reported.

[...]Rivera shot Genesis once in the head on the side of the road before Alvarez-Flores blasted her in the chest, the station reported.
Build the wall.

The Costs of Porous Borders

The disastrous border policies of the Obama Administration are becoming more apparent as arrests of criminal aliens are making the news.
Thirteen DREAMers from El Salvador stand accused of seven murders, including beating to death two Long Island girls with a baseball bat.

In Houston, two more DREAMers from El Salvador face charges of kidnapping one girl and murdering another girl in a Satanic ritual in their apartment.

They are members of MS-13, a gang that runs drugs and mayhem in America thanks to decades of open borders policies by both Presidents Bush as well as Clinton and Obama.

While Congress never passed the DREAM Act, it is de facto law as the Washington Establishment has prevented the border patrol from going after minors or illegal aliens brought here as minors.

Indeed, President Obama adopted the law in an executive order, relabeling it DACA.

As of January, 2017, the US Bureau of Prisons reports the following breakdown of federal inmates per nation of origin:
Country                          # of Inmates         % of Inmates
Colombia                             1,681                  0.9%
Cuba                                    1,242                   0.7%
Dominican Republic           1,661                   0.9%
Mexico                               26,852                 14.2%
Other/Unknown                    9,572                   5.1%
United States                   147,769                  78.3%

As of January, 2017, there were 154,000 inmates housed in federal prison facilities and another 35,100 housed in private and other facilities.

For more information see the March 2011 CRIMINAL ALIEN STATISTICS, Information on Incarcerations, Arrests, and Costs report by the US Government Accountability Office. It's dated but still interesting and shows that in 2010:
  • About 25 percent of the federal prison population in 2010 was comprised of foreign nationals. They numbered 55,000. Their numbers are growing, although slightly more slowly than the overall federal prison population.
  • State and local correctional systems that applied for payments under the federal SCAAP (State Criminal Alien Assistance Program) program in 2009 reported 296,000 illegal aliens who were jailed at least four days for a felony or two misdemeanors.
  • The average incarcerated alien had seven arrests, and committed an average of 12 offenses.
  • Twenty-five percent of the aliens had 16 or more offenses. Nine percent had just one arrest.

Under 42 U.S. Code § 13710 - Payments to eligible States for incarceration of criminal aliens - the federal government reimburses the states for costs associated with housing criminal aliens. However, this funding only accounts for approximately 8% or less of the estimated $2 billion spent annually by the states for this purpose ($1.87 billion in 2014).

As illegal aliens are more likely to commit crimes than any other type of immigrant or citizen, these costs are increasing every year and may account for the release of thousands of criminal aliens in order to reduce state budget overruns.

How much more likely to commit crimes? That's a dicey question as the states and federal governments do not make the answer easy. The overwhelming majority of crimes are handled by the states, not the feds, so the answer must be extrapolated from various sources.
Let’s take homicide as an example. The GAO estimates “criminal aliens” were arrested, convicted and incarcerated for 25,064 homicides. If non-citizens committed them over seven years, the annual rate would be 14.2 per 100,000 non-citizens. If illegal aliens committed them over four years, the annual rate would be 58.0 per 100,000 illegal aliens. Either way you compute, those are high rates.

By comparison, the FBI reports the murder rates for the entire U.S. from 2003 through 2009 varied from 5.0 to 5.8 per 100,000 inhabitants for an average rate of 5.5. To be clear, 5.5 is much lower than either 14.2 or 58.0.

Or look at the total number of homicides in those years. Per the FBI, there were 67,642 murders in the U.S. from 2005 through 2008, and 115,717 from 2003 through 2009. Per the GAO, criminal aliens committed 25,064 of them. That means they committed 22% to 37% of all murders in the U.S., while being only 3.52% to 8.25% of the population.

Conclusion: criminal and illegal aliens commit murder at much higher rates than all inhabitants of the U.S. – at least 3 to 10 times higher. [emphasis mine ~ sig94]

Guess Who?

Taken many years ago, this picture is of a high ranking U.S. government official.

Spooky Science In The Military

I have read about "entangled photons" and it is definitely a subject beyond my understanding. But, if true, this application to radar detection may have disastrous implications for American military aircraft.
CHINA claims it has a radical new ‘quantum’ radar capable of detecting stealth fighters at great distances. Does this mean our ultra-expensive new F-35 is obsolete, even before we get it?

The RAAF’s first F-35’s will be making their debut Australian appearance at the Avalon air show this week. It’s not a combat-capable aircraft, yet, though the first partially operational US squadron of the type was deployed to Japan earlier this year.

But Beijing state media has boasted its scientists have successfully tested a new type of radar capable of defeating stealth technology at ranges out to 100km.
With a single stroke, such a capability would render the $US1 trillion F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program obsolete. This includes Australia’s $17 billion investment in some 72 examples of the controversial aircraft.

Existing radars cast beams of radio waves into the sky, with sensors detecting reflections from aircraft or ships. The whole point of stealth technology is to minimise such reflections.

But what if the beam was something other than a radio wave?

What if Albert Einstein’s mysterious “spooky action at a distance” could be harnessed?

[...]The implications of such quantum radar are enormous.

If true, it could negate the effectiveness of the single aircraft in which all the West’s defence hopes lay — the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. This controversial aircraft is 10 years overdue and billions of dollars over budget.

And this is all due to its complete reliance on an ability to fly unseen.

What if it was visible?

It carriers fewer weapons, flies slower and is less manoeuvrable than its predecessors. But all this was justified on the basis that its design was optimised to be invisible to radar.

Take that invisibility away and the F-35 looks much less capable than its counterparts.

Liberal Sheep In Wolves Clothing

The democrats sat on their hands during President Trump's speech last night, but they're just being consistent. They're asses. However, they're not the ones he needs to worry about.

It's the RINO's. They applaud and smile and plot to stab him in the back.

Gainfuly Unemployed

I am now officially out of a job. Done.
After setting up a few things with my replacement I said my good byes in the office yesterday, got  handshakes and hugs and left. It was a funny feeling. I'll have to get used to that. Now today I already had one phone call from the parole reentry task force asking for information but I don't mind giving guidance.

Got a few things to do this week; dentist and taxman stuff. Think I'll start on the workshop. I'll post a few pictures of it as it now stands (a complete and utter shambles) and do some updates as it progresses.

The wife and I have a trip to Fayetteville, NC, planned for April. We'll spend a few weeks with our daughter and enjoy the warmer weather down there. I'll also look for some furniture to refinish.

I'm still a little antsy about my decision to leave but I know I did the right thing. New York State is getting absolutely ridiculous with its law enforcement programs and I am tired of dealing with them. The nit picking is tiresome and there is a pervasive theme of social justice and minority favoritism that has spread throughout the entire system under Cuomo. Add to this admixture the people in the State I trusted, who I have dealt with for years, are also retiring; stir, bake and the result is time to leave.

Perhaps this is contrary to popular opinion, but there are some great people who are bureaucrats. And of course there are slugs also. Most of my experiences have been with the good ones and I am most fortunate for that.

More Scams Supported By The Taxpayers

This is a problem in many jurisdictions that employ ex-cons in violence interdiction efforts. The cons use their positions to mask their continuing criminal enterprises. Street cops see this, shake their heads and curse the incompetent fools who support these efforts. The politicians and administrators (see incompetent fools) just wring their hands, mouth the "this is terrible" and "he was turning his life around" platitudes and continue their nonsensical attempts to keep the lofos, government bureaucrats and academia happy.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) claims an employee with Baltimore’s Safe Streets violence intervention program is tied to “a drug trafficking organization” associated with numerous shootings in the city.

The employee, 43-year-old Terrell Allen, is charged “with distribution and possession with intent to distribute drugs.” The ATF alleges that “Allen was overseeing a drug organization operating in the Latrobe Homes area.”

According to The Baltimore Sun, the Safe Streets program “hires ex-offenders to use their credibility on the streets to mediate disputes and prevent violence, out of the view of law enforcement, and city officials say it has been successful in cutting down violence in historically troubled areas.”
The city I work in uses the same kind of tactics; despite using this model for the last three years, last year broke all records for shootings and murders. The street crisis interdiction teams we use are provided up to date gang information but refuse to supply police with information that could save lives. This is in direct contradiction to the memorandum of understanding that supports these useless teams. Yet ... they are still supported with taxpayer dollars.

Story here.

IMHO many violence intervention programs are scams foisted by criminal justice professors/sociologists looking to publish and get lucrative consulting contracts and community-based not-for-profits seeking another government teat.

Plugging The Leaks

For an interesting discussion on how President Trump and General Flynn identified the persons who were the leaks in national security, go here
President Trump has defeated Democrats in the intelligence community (IC) who were leaking classified information to the press. Such leaks have been a problem for many presidents, but Trump is the first who took a proactive approach and set up a sting operation that identified the leakers. It’s highly illegal to leak classified information. It’s also illegal to PUBLISH this information, but Trump is too smart to try and prosecute reporters.
I thought that Trump would fire members of the IC until the leaks stopped, but the president solved the problem with a much more imaginative and deadly approach: He fed the IC false information. When this information was published, Trump was able to identify individual leakers.
How?
Each group or individual who leaked was given a different version of events. This is CLASSIC spycraft. If nine individuals are told nine different stories, and then each of those stories is published, you know the identity of each person who talked to the press.
President Trump in no fool, he does not tolerate fools nor does he hire them. Did he plug all the leaks, maybe not. Is this article fake news? maybe so, 'cause there are still leaks.

The Illegal Alien Song

First, Monty Python's Lumberjack Song:

THE ILLEGAL ALIEN SONG

I'm an illegal alien and I'm okay
I take your job 'cause I work for low pay
I cross your borders whenever I please
I don't pay taxes or government fees.

Chorus
He's an illegal alien and he's okay
He takes your job 'cause he works for low pay
He crosses our border whenever he please
He doesn't pay taxes or government fees.

I have lotsa children, on women I prey
We go on welfare without delay
The Muslims want Sharia and you must submit
Then we'll turn your country into a pile of shit.

Chorus
They have lotsa children, on women they prey
They get on welfare without delay
The Muslims want Sharia and we must submit
So they can turn our country to a pile of shit.
They're illegal aliens we must confess
They've turned all of Europe into a bloody mess.

No matter where we are we attack the Jews
But don't mess with Allah 'cause we have a short fuze
We have a Holy Book, it's called the Koran
If you make fun of it your head will be gone.

Chorus
No matter where they are they attack the Jews
But don't mess with Allah 'cause they have a short fuze
They're illegal aliens we must confess
They've turned all of Europe into a bloody mess.

The Democratic Party Still Loves To March

This is a picture of the Klan marching during he 1924 Democratic Convention. The Klan played a major role in Democratic politics then.

Racist, hateful maniacs still do.
In Madison Square Garden, New York City, from June 24 to July 9, a dispute during came up revolving around an attempt by non-Klan delegates, led by Forney Johnston of Alabama, to condemn the organization for its violence in the Democratic Party’s platform.

But Klan delegates defeated the platform plank in a series of floor debates.

To celebrate, tens of thousands of hooded Klansmen rallied in a field in New Jersey, across the river from New York City. This event, known subsequently as the “Klanbake”, was also attended by hundreds of Klan delegates to the convention, who burned crosses, urged violence and intimidation against African Americans and Catholics, and attacked effigies of Smith.

More on the convention and the role of the Klu Klux Kan here and here.
And what is a Klux? Merriam-Webster hasn't a klue.

So True

A conservative street artist is mocking Hollywood's biggest night, using fake Redbox kiosks and a line from a Quentin Tarantino movie to bash Sunday night's Oscar show.

Sabo, an artist who has made a name for himself with real-looking movie posters that skewer liberalism, plastered his latest creations all over Hollywood and Highland, a stone's throw from where celebrities will be walking the red carpet.

In the dead of night Thursday and early Friday morning, Sabo plastered his posters all over town, in hard-to-reach places where they look like genuine advertisements.

Chicago Gangs Go For The Gold

You can't say that the Chicago gangs don't try harder. They certainly don't rest on their laurels. As Chicago strides towards perhaps an all time record breaking year for mayhem, gangs are gearing up for the gold. These hard chargers are bringing semi-automatic rifles into play in the big event, free style homicide.
The first time 14-year-old Brisa Ramirez remembers hearing rifle fire was when a man was shot dead on a Sunday afternoon outside a Catholic church around the corner from her home in Back of the Yards.

She raises her voice to imitate the sharp, metallic bursts. Ta. Ta. Ta. Ta. Ta. It was a foreign sound even in this neighborhood accustomed to gunfire.

"It wasn't like a normal (shooting). … It was like something more terrible," Brisa says. "A noise that you can't really explain."

Soldiers know the different sounds when an AK-47 or an M16 is fired. It's something that a 14 year old inner city youth should never hear much less recognize.
The shooting was one of at least 33 in Back of the Yards and Brighton Park over the past nine months that police believe are tied to semi-automatic rifles as several gangs boost their firepower. At least 46 people have been shot in the attacks, 13 fatally.

Police say this is the only area of the city where rifles styled after AR-15s and AK-47s are regularly used, a menacing new development in the gang fights.

It's unclear how many of the high-powered rifles are on the street, but police suspect they are being passed around by members of four Hispanic gangs in the Deering police district, which covers parts of the South and Southwest sides.
Military grade rounds are much more powerful than a handgun. This upgrade in firepower presents an increased threat to innocent by standers as the round has much greater range and penetration. If this trend continues, expect to see a higher rate of fatalities and woundings of persons who simply are in the path of a stray round.

I have personally collected dozens of nine millimeter casings at the scene of a single shooting incident. If .30 caliber rounds were used instead, there's no telling how many people could have been shot.

Bullets fired from a US military style rifle have a muzzle velocity as high as 3000+ fps and can penetrate a window or wooden residential wall hundreds of yards from the actual scene of a shooting. While handgun rounds vary greatly, suffice it to say that a projectile fired from one of these rifles has at least twice the range and lethality of a handgun.

A 5.56 mm round fired from an AR-15 (civilian version of the M-16) can travel about 4,000 yards but has an effective range of perhaps 400+ yards. The AK-47 fires a 7.62 X 39 mm cartridge that employs a heavier bullet (122 gr versus 55 or 62 gr for the M-16) and a muzzle velocity of  2300+ fps. But like all weapons, lethality is determined by the person holding the firearm.

And these maniacs are using weapons like this in a densely populated urban setting.

President Trump Rope-A-Doping The Media

This American Thinker article pretty much speaks my mind when it comes to Trumpisms.

I admit, President Trump does come out with a cringe-worthy remark/tweet every now and then (maybe more often than that) but that's just the Queens (NYC) in him sneaking out. It's irrepressible. I've heard guys like this before and it doesn't bother me. What bothers me is when a President mouths politically correct nonsense on one hand and outright lies on the other and then does his best to destroy America with the media applauding every step of the way.

Unlike prior Republican Presidents, Trump's got the media on the run and they don't like it. Not since the days of Ronald Reagan has the media been staggered by a presidential rope-a-dope. He is his own man and, unlike his predecessors, he speaks his mind regardless of  how the media screams:
  • Certainly not George W. Bush, who let them hammer him into a dismal 28% approval rating over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the weapons of mass destruction, Abu Ghraib, the banking crisis, etc.
  • Certainly not John McCain, who let the liberal media cast him as an old, out-of-touch, nervous candidate with a nutcase for his VP running mate.
  • And certainly not Mitt Romney, who let Candy Crowley and Obama roll him like a street drunk over Benghazi and the “terrorism” word in their second Presidential debate, on foreign policy.
It is amazing how his approval ratings remain stable despite the media's relentless attacks on him. This speaks to the trust that his supporters have in him and his efforts to maintain that relationship. More importantly, it speaks to the nation's distrust of the media and he is faithful in his efforts to hammer them over and over again.
Rasmussen had him at 52% approval last week, a very good mark for any president, and one that’s particularly astonishing in light of the unprecedented, unrelenting liberal attacks on him. He’s doing more, sooner, than any president in recent memory. He speaks directly to the issues that matter to the people and he says what he’ll do without equivocation, doubletalk or dancing.
It doesn't appear that he will change his delivery. It has worked for him in business and in politics and he sees no reason to switch gears. He communicates directly with the American people and by doing so he by passes the liberal media filters. "Fake News" was a master piece, a simple slap in the face that resounds every time he uses it. It has left a mark.
