All they need are a few solid conservatives over there and I bet their ratings and revenues would pick right up. Don't they watch the polls? The U S has always been center right. And with a liberal/communist as president, the American People are moving to the right. Jump on board or get out of the way!

  2. I hope CBS doesn't fail until Monday because Tiger Woods is one off the lead at the Buick Open and it's on CBS tomorrow 3 - 6pm EDT.

Funny, but Couric might be on that ship (in fact, she is), but she hardly is dragging it down herself. CBS and other old media dinos were sinking long ago because of their failure to adapt the way they present the news ... along with a monolithic view of it.

For us conservatives, we need to realize that a lot of it is in packaging and presentation ... using new technology and media as well as presenting information that can be taken in easily and in adaptable formats. We need to keep the message sharp but also the presentation.

The only people that watch CBS any more are old liberals and crumudgeons. They are dying off.

    Ope,

Could you imagine what would happen if one of the major networks' news departments were to give a voice to something other than East Coast liberal drivel?

I think they'd dominate the viewer numbers.

  5. Is CBS still on the air? I thought with digital HD that all the liberal puke networks were replaced with the playboy channel? That cable sales person from India sure seen me coming. I bought three playboy channel subscriptions. Oh well, Internet porn isnt going to download itself.

Kid, poor NBC. I think their sports package includes Senior Tour golf, professional curling, and the WNBA.

    DC...

You have to think that someday some network exec is gonna look at a politically center-right nation as a ratings and financial gold mine.

Sometimes I think that the New York elite believe that Conservatism is just a fad destined to disappear.

    Nick,

When you have conservatives as old as you, isn't it apparent that we aren't talking fad any more?

  10. Gee Obama and the Democrats are forcing the U.S. into lagdom. We are falling behind the times because of the liberal farce of global warming and their "green" movement. We need to drill baby drill as Palin says it. This is the time to start drilling for oil and natural gas especially with the problem of Iran. Obama and Dems green movement is going to prevent the United States from becoming energy independent. The Libs are pulling this country down and we must stop them.

The colonization of the networks by photogenic morons like Couric started when the entertainment and news divisions compared earned revenues, and the news divisions corrupted themselves with celebrities who, being celebrities, were always liberals.

CNN tried to backtrack on this idiocy with the sweat-stained Jack Cafferty - white shirt, skinny tie and Brylcream hair, all he needed was a Camel stuck to his lip and a fedora with a "Press" tag on the brim. Trouble is, he was still a bleating, liberal moron, just a dirty one.

DC's right. When the cuckoos are in the nest, it's too late.

PS: The Cafferty Strategy goes a long way to explaining the relative popularity of the lard-faced Chris Matthews.

Put a woman-abusing pantload on screen, have him howl in the tones of mid-orgasm and you've captured the middle-aged, henpecked lefty male audience. Matthews is what they want to be.

    DC,

In my case, not so much fad as fade.

Strong points, Terri. I'm happy there are folks like you out there spitting out the Kool-Aid.

"Lagdom" is our word of the day.

Rhod, having watched the mass media operate for a few decades, as you have, I believe that when any turn to the political middle should happen, it'll be a stampede.

I can't believe this. Is this government insane or evil?
