The Media, The Left and GOP Elitists vs. Sarah Palin: A Lesson on How to Destroy a Leader

Bill Whittle hits one out of the park with this one.
"She brought just about every vote that the Republicans got."
[If you would rather hear and see this (and it's better with some vocal steam and supporting pictures), you can view the Afterburner version for free, here.]

Well, Sarah Palin has stepped down as Governor of Alaska. Fighting a seemingly endless string of harassment lawsuits has taken pretty much all of her time and $500,000 of her money. That’s real money to the Palins. That’s real money to me, and probably to you too.

At least fifteen ethics complaints had been leveled against Governor Palin, and all of them have been dismissed as baseless. But that’s beside the point, isn’t it? Decent people, like most of you out there, probably don’t appreciate just how easy it is to destroy someone of integrity if you have no integrity of your own.

Here’s how it works. Fifteen assorted bloggers and miscreants of various stripes launch unsubstantiated ethics complaints against the Governor of Alaska, who, because of Alaska state law, is not immune from having to fight them. Fifteen charges of corruption – no matter whether they are true or not – means that the public hears nothing but the words “Palin” and “Corruption” being solemnly reported by the press. Even the phrase “cleared of corruption charges” makes that subconscious connection.

And that’s all it takes: false accusations. (More...)

  1. Nickie,
Great Posting!!! Those unethical Libs and elitists have no integrity whatsoever. I think Palin is a lot like Ronald Reagan and that scares the Dems. I honestly don't understand what's up the conservative elites butts? She has much to be proud of and I hope that she makes a great comeback. I think that her book appearances can help to make this happen.

  4. Hello, may I congratulate you on your spot on parody of knee jerk American conservatism, it is a perfect satire on the unthinking right-leaning US media!

If it wasn't for the sub Fox News raging hyperbole and absurd apocalyptic predictions, I might have even suspected it was genuine! If it wasn't for the picture of a shotgun totting Sarah Palin, that gave the game away.

  8. My my my. The Libs are frightened. They beat her with sticks and stones. Yet she lives.

  9. Your damn right they're afraid of her. Deathly afraid. She stirred emotions. The kind that get people off their ass and to the voting booth.

But they will pound on her long after she's been pounded into the ground.

The state run media will be printing BS stories about Sarah Paling long after people are all saying "Who's Sarah Palin??"

That's how afraid of her they are.

Imagine they had teams of investigators in Alaska for Months and all they came up with was a DUI on Todd, decades ago, before they were married.

  10. There you go again, anonymong, showing up everywhere and having little but stupidity to say. The only bad Disney Movie I see here is some gutless a$%wipe who hasn't the decency to come in heavy with a name.

Sorry, Nickie. But I have little patience for stupidity on anyone's blog. Feel free to delete my rant. Or send anonymong over my way, where I'll do he/she/it some real friggin' damage, such as eating the f#$k for breakfast.

  11. Dr Dave, I am *NOT* criticizing. ie. GO man GO.

But I'm compelled to say that I'm just fascinated at this point with the level of brainwashing that so many people are seemingly happy to oblige themselves of.

I'm surprised the little punk didn't squeal 'I can see Russia From My House!' Which was of course Humor offered by Mrs Palin.

Compared to Barak Obama's 'Well, I've been to 57 states, and have 1 or 2 or 3 more to go to, but a couple of them are too dangerous so they wown't let me go"

I absolutely believe at the time he said that he had no idea how many states there are. he and his wife hate America far too much to have absorbed much of its history.

But, back to Mrs Palin. She is 20 times more qualified to sit in the Oval Office.

Barak hasn't held a professional job in his life. Sure, Law Professor at Harvard. BFD. He's never had to do anything for real. He's never stepped into a court of law to argue a case.
He's never held a professional position where real work is being done. Compare that to a Governor of any state - especially one that returns money to its citizens and one has to simply stare in amazement at the pathetic fools who feel for this circus clown turned teleprompter reader.

    Truly amazing societal phenomenon.
As far as Anon, Screw him/her/it. They're a penny a million.

Again, not giving advice or ctitiqing, just tossing in my own vibe.

  13. Anonymous,
Show that you have some backbone and produce your name. I think you are the Evil Cruella De Vil wanting to kill the pups, just like the unborn baby humans.

I can see you as the evil Lady Tremaine from Cinderella being a snob, keeping the good hard working Cinderella from having a little fun. Instead, you probably stand up for the people on welfare and other do-nothings wasting taxpayer money.

I can also see you as the evil pirate villain Captain Hook who threatens our Republic and who threatens life as we know it in America.

Palin is the hero in All of these Disney Movies. You are definitely the villain who is corrupting this nation.

    Nickie,
erase this if you feel this is too over the top.

  14. Hi!
What some of the media did to this woman is unconscionable ...
Arrogance never made anyone truly better than another...

I know there's something cookin' for her... but first, I hope she enjoys a little peace and quiet with her family...
    all the best, Maria

Did you get a load of the picture of GallStoneCatBox. Am I wrong or is that Napoleon Dynamite?

I suppose his mention of Sarah "totting" a shotgun hinted at his latent Conservatism. Welcome to the dark side, youngster.

  31. How can someone so straightforward be so hated? It doesn't make sense.

Being straightforward to a Lib is like garlic to a vampire.

  33. Anonymous8/04/2009

The part that still takes me aback is the amount of hate leveled at her for the simple act of giving life to her adorable son, Trig. That the left HATES her with such venom because of her CHOICE proves that the left are not "pro-choice" as they like to claim. They are pro-abortion. They do not respect Palin's choice and the choice of many other ladies who bear their live children.

    Nickie,

Great post but I'm so tired of the word "elitist." It is supposed to mean people who are the best in their fields, not people who think they're the best.

    Keep up the good work!

Fools' Gold, I'm glad you came to visit. DC is a regular commenter here and, God bless him, he works to expand his vocabulary.

PS _ I like your/our analogy of the Democrat Politicians to Vampires. It describes them perfectly. They are sucking the blood out of America's finest - military and citizen alike, and they have no empathy for their victims. None.
