At the radio company's Web site, there is this notice: "It is with the greatest regret, on behalf of our Board, that we must announce that Air America Media is ceasing its live programming operations as of this afternoon, and that the Company will file soon under Chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code to carry out an orderly winding-down of business."
In the statement, the "very difficult economic environment" is said to have impacted Air America's business, along with the past year's "perfect storm" of falling revenues affecting media.

Air America has been hoisted by its own petard. A victim of the administration's liberal agenda and anti-business policies, which it supports. Boo hoo.
