What I learned from Delaware

Two months ago, I didn't know a think about Christine O'Donnell. I know little more now. But I have learned quite a bit about the entrenched Republican party. What a nest of self-serving vipers!!

Hats off to the voters of Delaware. Hats off to the Tea Party. I've just visited the O'Donnell site and made a donation, and those of you who know me know that I rarely part with U.S. currency. If you are toying with the idea of throwing a few clams Christine's way, please do so. She may win that thing!

Rove is asking about her financial past. I wonder who left in the Obamaconomy will be able to stand up to such scrutiny. I hope she is a good, conservative candidate and does well for DE.

  2. Nickie - I see you have posted the latest WH portrait of the President and his manbride.

Well, if Nickie Goomba can finally part with some of his First Communion money, maybe the rest of us can follow suit.

Nick, where did you get the picture ... that's one of my old law school classmates.

I like Christine. I watched her victory speech last night. It was great.

I saw the establishment raining down mortars on her.

Clear the women and children ...

Krauthammer is a prick. I want to see his face on election night when she squeaks it out. She can absolutely do this. She is running against a communist, and America would never elect a commun ...

Never mind. But I am still pulling for her big time.

DC, I tend to cut the kraut a little slack. But the dude was way off base. Like the libs, many repubs don't understand the energy behind the tea party.

  10. Nickie, I'll even say I'm willing to see even some good ones go to the newcomers. Government is a failure and both sides are, generally speaking, playing us for fools.

In the end, I think we'll keep some of the good ones. Michelle Bachman for example. I want carnage though.

And yes the level of disgust with incumbents has been incredibly mis-underestimated :)

  11. PS - Did you see where John Boehner was about to compromise and allow tax increases for 'the rich'.

That might be enough to do him in if someone runs against him.

  12. I expressed similar sentiments last evening after her victory was announced, which was almost immediately followed by an announcement from the National Republican Senatorial Committee that they would not be supporting her.

Of course they have since retracted, and Drudge had the red ink headline about the massive influx of cash.

She got a few clams from me, and may get a few more since I don't need to support anyone locally...

Kid... with the bigwigs not understanding and the MFM misrepresenting, there's gonna be surprises in November.

I never would have guessed that Boehner is a French name.

Sol, last night was similar to turning over a flat stone and seeing all the low forms of life scurrying from the light.

    Let's keep shining that light.

  20. Politicians no matter what party seem to serve that mystic cause "self-interest."

I pray the Tea Party is different. Actions are the best words.

Thanks for visiting my blog and following. It means a lot, Roland

  21. And in the NY gubernatorial primary, Lazio was eaten alive by Carl Paladino. When questioned about his stunning upset of the Republican favored son, Paladino replied, "Chicken, he tasted like chicken."
