For real men there is the .45. For those who can't, there is the powder puff 9mm. It'll do, I suppose. And it isn't quite as bad as a bb gun. But it's not really the best choice, just the only one for some.
I just boughted a S&W BodyGuard .380, AKA 9mm Kurtz (German for "short"). Strictly a pocket gun, last resort, start looking for a chair to throw, defense.
It'll do if I let 'em get close enough to put one in his heart and another in his forehead.
