A Toyota Prius btw, has 25 Ponds of rare Earth metals in it. Gee, wonder how much pollution was created mining that 25 pounds. To say nothing of the nickel processing for the batteries, etc.
It was actually proven that the entire lifespan of a Hummer produced less pollution than construction of a Toyota Prius.
