Liberals try again and again to soft-pedal the criminal activity of illegal aliens in America. The truth is, they have a devastating effect on the communities where they reside.

Most states and our federal government have kept information and statistics about illegal immigration, crimes committed by illegals and the costs borne by you the U.S. payer out of public view. It is in fact difficult, but not impossible to locate accurate crime statistics involving illegal aliens. The statistics are buried both to suit a political agenda and to avoid public outcry.

Of the 61,529 criminal cases filed by federal prosecutors; 40% or 24,746 were in court districts along the southern borders of California, Arizona and Texas. The Western District of Texas had the nation’s most significant crime rate with over 6,300 cases filed; followed by the Southern District of Texas with slightly over 6,000 cases. The Southern California District with nearly 4,900 cases; New Mexico with nearly 4,000 cases and Arizona with over 3,500 criminal cases ranked 3rd, 4th and 5th.

[...]According to the FBI, 67,642 murders were committed in the U.S. from 2005 through 2008, and 115,717 from 2003 through 2009. The General Accounting Office documents that criminal aliens committed 25,064 of these murders. To extrapolate out these statistics, this means that a population of just over 3.5% residing in the U.S. unlawfully committed 22% to 37% of all murders in the nation. This is astounding!

If the above hasn't made you sick, the following will. It makes me want to grab every liberal politician and stuff them in a prison cell with these murderers.

Vetted crime statistics from USDOJ, the U.S. Sentencing Commission and the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) are both clear and demonstrative that illegal aliens who comprise only 3.5% of our nation’s population, are convicted and sentenced for the crime of murder at a rate of three times that of their American citizen and legal alien counterparts. In California alone, over 2,400 illegal aliens out of a total prison population of 130,000 are imprisoned in the state’s prison system for the crime of homicide.

MOAB vs MOP vs The Cloudmaker

The Massive Ordnance Air Blast, GBU-43/B or MOAB, was just used to shatter a network of tunnels used by ISIS in Afghanistan. This is a thermobaric munition that uses over pressure to kill people and break things. It is over 30 feet long, 40 inches wide and weighs 21,600 pounds (almost 11 tons). The explosive power (energy) of this device is 46 gigajoules (billion joules) or almost 13,000 kwh. A joule is the energy required to send an electrical current of one ampere through a resistance of one ohm for one second.

A joule is an amount of energy and a watt is a rate at which energy is used, defined as 1 W = 1 J∕sec The Hoover Dam produces an average of 4.5 billion kwh of electricity per year. When detonated, the MOAB releases the same amount of energy as the Hoover Dam produces in 1.5 minutes. While that doesn't sound like much, consider that a 10-ton truck traveling at 100 mph generates only 10 megajoules upon impact. The MOAB delivers an impact 460 times greater.

The Massive Ordnance Penetrator, GBU-57A/B or MOP, is a munition designed to defeat deeply buried structures, as much as 200 feet underground. Intended to destroy Iraqi bunkers, It is 4 tons heavier than the MOAB. The MOP weighs 30,000 pounds (15 tons) is 20.5 feet in length and is 31.5" in diameter. It is armed with 5,300 pounds of high explosives, about half that of the MOAB.

Like the MOAB, it uses GPS guidance and egg crate vanes to bring it on target. Although the MOP has been successfully tested, it has never been used in a hostile action. There are probably twenty or so upgraded versions of these bombs ready for use. Reportedly the new versions weigh 37,000 pounds.

The Next Generation Penetrator (NGP) is being designed in a smaller, lighter configuration to enable it to be delivered by aircraft with a more conventional payload. The weight of the MOP is a major contributing factor to it's penetrating ability. The NGP may use rockets to give it a velocity (greater speed equal greater kinetic energy) that will achieve the same penetration.

Neither of these bombs approaches the weight of America's heaviest air borne munition, the T-12 Cloudmaker. The T-12 was a 44,000 pound bunker buster developed near the end of WWII. It was almost 17' long and 54" wide; designed to be carried by the B-36 bomber, two at a time. Nuclear weapons quickly made the T-12 obsolete.

Canada Is About To Be Swamped

Canada apparently will legalize the recreational use of marijuana, the gateway drug.
America should throw a party. Almost 50 years ago Canada welcomed American cowards with open arms as they fled service in the armed forces. Unfortunately President Jimmy *spit* Carter welcomed them back.

Now we have  a chance to get rid of the dopers.

MONTREAL — The Canadian government announced Thursday new legislation to legalize marijuana for recreational use, a move that could lure American visitors but create legal headaches when they return home.

Possession of small amounts of pot will be legal throughout the country on July 1, 2018, if the legislation passes. The federal government set the minimum age at 18, but will allow each province to determine if it should be higher. The provinces also will decide how the drug will be sold and distributed. Those under 18 found with small amounts of marijuana would not face criminal charges.

If we don't have them already, we need to install sensitive cannabis sensors at our northern border stations to either lock these people up as they return to the states or prohibit their entry. Let them apply for Canadian citizenship as refugees.

In addition to the above, Trump has finally put the fangs back into our immigration laws. Look to see illegal aliens flocking to the north as Trudeau's Canada commits socialist suicide.

I'm drinking coffee and covered with dog hair.

 We arrived at Danielle's house yesterday around 1700. Her pups went nuts as we walked in the door; Greta and Boogie (as in Bogart) haven't left us alone since.  Especially Greta, she is constantly underfoot.

Boogie is an idiot. He jumped out the car window when our daughter was returning from NG training in Alabama last week - the car was doing 60 mph. Danielle has horrid memories of seeing him violently flipping over and over in her rear view mirror. She found a vet (I think she was in Georgia at the time) and had him checked out right away. He got all scrapped up and was a little dopey for a few days but is back to his normal, stupid self.

IMHO Greta got sick of his s**t and pushed him out the window. Greta is the princess, the Queen even. Greta gotta teach stuff to stupid dogs.

Oh, and Danielle was also glad to see us. Jess and her husband (and baby) just left my sister's house in MD (it's 0825 now) and will be joining us at Danielle's about 1430. My oldest daughter Amy and her brood will be here Friday. It will be the first Easter in a long time (10 years?) that most of us will be together. The only one missing will be Becca in Brooklyn. But her boss had her over for Passover last week so she's got that going for her.

Ahhhh. Trump chess. After he and Xi Jinping had a powwow last week suddenly a carrier strike group shows up on Kim Jung's front porch and now 150,000 Chinese troops arrive at his back door. Little Kim needs to reassess his strategery, eh? We'll see what the fat crazy rice bowl does next.

On The Road

We're in Maryland today visiting my sister and her husband, getting ready to leave to North Carolina this afternoon. It's amazing how much greener it gets just six hours south of Upstate New York. We'll be gone for almost three weeks. We left Syracuse yesterday morning and had a great six hour trip, very little traffic, no delays, rain or snow.

I managed to pack some of my tools as our daughter has a "honey-do" list ready for us in NC. The tools and my MIL's vanity (stored in our basement since her dad sold the house) has the Explorer loaded to the gunnels.

Saw my mom last night. Very discouraging to see how fast she is failing. This may be the last time we get to see her. She has dementia but I think she knows the end is very near; thankfully all our daughters and grand  kids will be in Maryland over the next two weeks to see her.

A very bitter sweet vacation.

Does Kim Jung Have A Teachable Moment?

Assassinating the leader of a sovereign nation has been publicized as a viable option in the US media.

If this leader has any brains at all, he will accept this as a warning and calm the hell down.

The new Sheriff is not about to put up with his nonsense.

The National Security Council has presented President Donald Trump with options to respond to North Korea's nuclear program — including putting American nukes in South Korea or killing dictator Kim Jong-un, multiple top-ranking intelligence and military officials told NBC News.

If he doesn't take a chill pill, it is very likely that a Tomahawk has been prepared with his name on it. I assume the Chinese have been advised and have signed off on it conditionally ... that we warn the little prick what is going to happen.

UPDATE:
A carrier strike force has been dispatched to the Korean Peninsula.

A U.S. Navy strike group will be moving toward the western Pacific Ocean near the Korean peninsula as a show of force, a U.S. official told Reuters on Saturday, as concerns grow about North Korea's advancing weapons program.

Earlier this month North Korea tested a liquid-fueled Scud missile which only traveled a fraction of its range.

The strike group, called Carl Vinson, includes an aircraft carrier and will make its way from Singapore toward the Korean peninsula, according to the official, who was not authorized to speak to the media and requested anonymity.

"We feel the increased presence is necessary," the official said, citing North Korea's worrisome behavior.
