Obama's Democratic Odor Eaters - FAIL

I am not obsessing over the President's birth certificate. I am simply following my instincts, my gut reaction that when something stinks to high heaven, people other than myself will sit up and take notice. Apparently the Interim Director of the Department of Health for the State of Hawaii, Neal Palafox, smelled something really rancid and decided to remove himself from the source. He resigned, withdrew his nomination for the position.

This was the guy who until last Wednesday had control over the most toxic document on the face of the Earth - Barack Obama's alleged birth certificate.

(AP) HONOLULU - Interim Hawaii Health Director Dr. Neal Palafox abruptly quit Wednesday, the first of new Gov. Neil Abercrombie's Cabinet appointees to leave.

The reason for Palafox's resignation was a mystery, and he wouldn't say whether he was asked to resign.

Abercrombie's office said Palafox asked the Democratic governor to withdraw his nomination.

"Gov. Abercrombie accepted Dr. Palafox's request and will make a new appointment for the Health Director as soon as possible," spokeswoman Donalyn Dela Cruz said in a statement.

The Attorney General's office wouldn't comment on whether it's investigating Palafox, said Joshua Wisch, special assistant to the attorney general.

Palafox, 58, said he was surprised when he heard TV news reports citing anonymous sources claiming he was under investigation for medical billing fraud.

"I get handed these e-mails about investigations and so forth, but I have no clue. I'm lost," Palafox said.

University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine Dean Jerris Hedges said the school is unaware of any pending investigation. Hedges said Palafox will return to his job at the school, where he was chairman of the Department of Family Medicine before his nomination.

The state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs said it had no complaints about Palafox over the last five years.

Not surprisingly, this comes on the heels of multiple revelations that Gov. Abercrombie stated that there is no long form birth certificate for the President and that Gov. Abercrombie did not say that there is no such document.
Let's review the time line.
  1. January 20, 2011 (Friday) - Hollywood Insider celebrity report Mike Evans was interviewed on KQRS-FM in Minnesota. He unequivocally states in no uncertain terms that in a prior conversation with his decades-long, good friend Abercrombie, he was told that there is no long form Hawaiian birth certificate for the President of the United States.
  2. January 26, 2011 (Wednesday) - A "remorseful and embarrassed" Mike Evans states that he never meant to give the impression that he spoke to the Governor regarding Obama's birth certificate.
  3. January 26, 2011 (Wednesday) - Interim Health Director Neal Palafox gives his best impression of a Libyan Air Force pilot and bails out over Honolulu.
The President wishes that the conservative media would once again obsess over his wife's big butt.
Of course, here at GNN we're always glad to oblige.

Even the horse is impressed.

So you thought you had a crappy New Year's Eve?

Text message blows up suicide bomber by accident

A "Black Widow" suicide bomber planned a terrorist attack in central Moscow on New Year's Eve but was killed when an unexpected text message set off her bomb too early, according to Russian security sources.

The unnamed woman, who is thought to be part of the same group that struck Moscow's Domodedovo airport on Monday, intended to detonate a suicide belt near Red Square on New Year's Eve in an attack that could have killed hundreds.

Security sources believe a message from her mobile phone operator wishing her a happy new year received just hours before the planned attack triggered her suicide belt, killing her at a safe house.

Islamist terrorists in Russia often use mobile phones as detonators. The bomber's handler, who is usually watching their charge, sends the bomber a text message in order to set off his or her explosive belt at the moment when it is thought they can inflict maximum casualties.

The dead woman has not been identified, but her husband is apparently serving time in jail for being a member of a radical Islamist terror group.

Security sources believe the New Year's Eve bomber and the airport bombers may have been members of a suicide squad trained in Pakistan's al-Qaida strongholds which was sent to target the Russian capital's transport system.

Nobody has been arrested in connection with Monday's bombing, which left 35 people dead. Police are trying to identify the severed head of a male suicide bomber recovered from the scene.

Is SEIU Working With Hamas And FARC?

Isn't it amazing how a web of domestic anti-Zionism and anti-Americanism is becoming visible? Obama has his finger in the terrorist pie. Did I forget to mention his pal Soros? George Soros will soon be discovered to have had connections to Islamic opposition groups in Egypt. Wanna bet?

Just in case you believe our greatest enemies are in Iran, China and Venezuela

Europe according to Germany

Euro lesson: not America nor Israel
From a post at the PRO COMMERCE blog

The euro will be a 21st century failure much the same way as communism and socialism were in the 20th century.

I expect the European financial union to fall apart slowly over the next decade. In the end we will have several strong currencies the Deutsche mark and the Frank as we did before and a number of weak currencies. What was wrong with the model of the European financial union?

In the 20th century we found that communism didn’t work because people cannot be remade as individuals by their government. The lesson in the failure of the euro is that governments cannot be remade into a unified structure that will have new and desirable characteristics. Putting governments together is not like making soup or salad. A combination is not positive. The new national entity has the same shortcomings as the individual nations. The Greeks remain just as lazy and democratically unwilling to bear the cost of government or control costs as they did before the union was created.

The founders of the Euro looked at the examples of the United States, Israel and the British colonies and saw the remarkable economic vitality of mixing different nationalities. The problem with this model is that (except for India in the British colonies) we are talking about new population settlements. These were nations that were settled by individuals with vast national differences; but tthey were able to coalesce slowly to form a coherent population and a functioning society.

That has absolutely nothing to do with the Euro except the wonderful American, Canadian and Israeli examples are misread as a synthesis of nations rather than a national synthesis of ethnicities.

COMMENT:
This is part and parcel of Europe losing its intellectual -- and therefore moral and political -- faculties in favor of the Arab model: Remember only what makes you feel good. If that fails, make sh*t up.

I have had many wonderful personal, professional, and cultural contacts with Europeans. Start talking about politics, geopolitics, economics, or (gasp!) defense policy, and suddenly it's like talking with an Arab about whether or not Sharia law is a good idea. Of *course* culture is hereditary; it is the sole property of the ethnic nation-state, and we Yanks don't have much except what our fathers brought (from Europe, natch). Of *course* the US is the biggest threat to world peace -- look at the money we spend on our horrible, awful, archaic military! Capability equals intent. Full stop. I run into this time after time, both in person and online.

No one knows, or cares, that all three Baltic states have a higher murder rate than the US, or that the violent crime rate in Britain is something like 200%+ the US rate. No one ever caricatures them as a society of weapon-toting aggressive hoodlums. The Americans are the most violent b*stards on the planet. It is a fact. No one knows, or cares, that the German, French, and British governments have all the same powers enumerated under the Patriot Act, and have had since the Sixties (with no sunset clause, mind). It is the neo-fascist fearmongering Americans who are throwing their civil rights away. It is a fact. No one remembers that going after WMD's in Iraq was Tony Blair's idea; that it was the price of British admittance, and that we bent over backwards to accommodate our allies. It is the warmongering Americans who started an illegal war in search of WMD's that didn't exist, and all for oil, and nevermind that the French and Chinese wound up with the lion's share of the oil contracts afterwards....

No one cares to mention that it is the EU, not the US, that signs horrifyingly restrictive trade agreements with starving African nations, and forbids them upon pain of losing their foreign aid to accept gifts of evil American Frankenfood grain during times of famine -- even though it's the exact same foodstuffs we've been buying at Safeway for a decade, with no apparent ill effects. It is the Americans that are killer capitalists. It is a fact, in Europe. And no one, not one maverick newspaper editor or politician or so-called intellectual, bothers to bring any of this up, ever. Not for the sake of defending those filthy Yankees, but just for the sake of intellectual honesty.

Rank and file Europeans are some of the most self-obsessed, information-crippled boobs I have ever encountered. Our own bumbling nitwit society looks pretty sharp by comparison.

President Barry Soetoro, AKA Barack Obama

It just gets deeper and deeper. My journalistic hip boots are threatening to spring a leak. Apparently the old fashioned rule to shut your piehole is no longer taught to reporters and politicians. Instead, we are treated to the old standby of "that conversation is no longer operative."

In this video clip of a radio interview, Hollywood Insider reporter Mike Evans relates how his good buddy, Gov. Neil Abercrombie, told him that there is no birth certificate for Barack Obama. Evans goes on for quite some length about this startling revelation.

,
I am tempted to see if Nickie will shake the GNN petit cash tree so we can investigate whether or not Barry Soetoro, AKA Barack Obama:
  1. is an extraterrestrial space alien
  2. was Emperor Haile Selassie's cabana boy
  3. was born female
  4. is the love child of Helen Thomas and Sidney Poitier

But suprise! Evans now recantS his story and denies ever talking to Gov. Abercrombie regarding Soetoro's birth certificate.

Evans, who says he has been a close friend of Abercrombie since the 1980s, appeared on Minnesota’s KQRS radio last week and said he’d been told by the governor himself that Obama’s birth certificate was nowhere to be found. Evans told KQRS on Jan. 20:

"Yesterday, talking to Neil's office, Neil says that he searched everywhere using his powers as governor ..... there is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii. Absolutely no proof at all that he was born in Hawaii."

But that’s no longer Evans’ story.

“Only this I can you tell you is 100 percent fact: that Neil never told me there was no birth certificate,” Evans told Fox News. “I never talked to him.”

Last week’s radio interview was part of Evans’ syndicated five-minute feature, “On the Road with Mike Evans,” which is broadcast on 34 stations across the country each morning.

On the morning of Jan. 20, Evans says he accidentally told one of those radio stations -- KQRS -- that he’d spoken directly with Gov. Abercrombie about the Obama birth certificate.

More here.

Mike Evans also maintains that he is really, really, really sorry he accidently started smoking peyote mixed with formaldehyde again and that he was all alone with his baby momma when the radio interview didn't happen .

Now you see it, Now you don't!

State Budget Bunk
by Steven Malanga - City Journal

A taxonomy of fiscal gimmicks, evasions, and ploys

In a 2009 segment on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, host Jon Stewart told viewers that many recession-hammered states had turned to unusual methods to raise money. “Are any of these ideas actually stupid?” Stewart wondered. Cut to Daily Show correspondent Jason Jones, who described Arizona’s plans to sell its state government buildings for $735 million, lease them back, and keep on using them. Quickly discerning the problem with such a maneuver, Jones confronted Arizona state senator Linda Lopez: “So you’ve got $735 million for this year. What happens next year, when you don’t have that and you’ve got to pay rent?” Lopez’s awkward response: “That’s always the problem, but we gotta get through this year.”

Arizona is hardly alone in straining budget credibility to the breaking point. Facing scary revenue drops that left their budgets dangerously unbalanced after years of runaway spending, states have employed an unprecedented number of fiscal gimmicks over the last two years to try to make up the difference. They have swiped revenues dedicated to maintaining roads or enhancing emergency medical systems; sold future lottery proceeds for cash today; grabbed unclaimed money in personal bank accounts; and redefined taxes as fees to get around constitutional limits on tax hikes. And they’ve justified these moves by claiming that voters are in no mood for the spending cuts or explicit tax hikes necessary to shrink deficits legitimately—even though the tricks often circumvent budget restrictions that the voters themselves enacted.

I'm A Birther, You're A Birther, ...

I gotta admit, this makes about as much sense as anything I have read and makes more sense than a lot of hysterical nonsense that is out on the web.

Obama refuses to release his long form birth certificate because it shows that his legal name is Barry Soetoro. Apparently he was adopted by his wog step dad from Indonesia. His original birth certificate would have been removed and a new one issued with his new name. This could also be the reason why so much of Obama's early life history remains sealed at his demand.

If it becomes known that President Obama is really President Soetoro - well - there is no President Soetoro. Things could get very interesting.

Perhaps there was no Barack in the file cabinet, only Barry.

Rookie Gov. Abercrombie may have stuck his foot in his mouth when he said that he would prove that Obama's birthplace is in the 50th state. The Gov. is now ducking behind the state law that forbids the release of documents such as these without the express approval of a family member.
So states Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Hawaii's Director of health.

America sees the future fast-forwarded

"In this war between the ruling class and the middle-class Tea Partiers, the mainstream media has abandoned the role of being on the sidelines as a referee and has joined the battle on the side of the ruling class. No longer is it a watchdog against abuses by the powerful or against institutional corruption. The media is now the attack dog against the Tea Party movement, the Constitution, and the populist revolt of middle-class Americans."
Tucson and the Kamikaze Left
By Richard Viguerie

Following their shellacking in the first regularly scheduled federal election of the Tea Party era, the political left and the ruling-class media made predictable calls for civility in political discourse. I say predictable because, as a general rule, the left and their media partners make calls for bipartisanship and civility only when conservatives ascend to political power, and they direct it only at conservatives, not at the extremists on their side.

The recent tragedy in Tucson, however, displayed in condensed hours and days the visceral, disgraceful desperation of the left and ruling-class media.

Americans, through the Tea Party movement, are in a peaceful political war against the ruling class. To the everyday Americans-turned-political-activists, this is a war for the future of the America we cherish. The ruling class understands this is a war against the self-dealing privilege and kleptocracy they've created over many decades.

The verbal and printed attacks on Tea Party conservatives following the Tucson tragedy, however, show that the left and ruling-class media are in kamikaze mode. They are sacrificing all semblance of decency and credibility -- or what little they have left -- to defeat the rise of small-government constitutional conservatives.

A "good" man is hard to find

"Given the level of distrust, is it any wonder that, as the London Telegraph reported last month, the British Musicians' Union warned its members they are no longer to touch a child's fingers, even to position them correctly on the keys? Or that a public pool in Sydney, Australia last fall prohibited boys from changing in the same locker room as the men? (According to the Daily Telegraph in Sydney, the men demanded this, fearing false accusations.)"
Eek, a Male!!
The Wall Street Journal

Treating all men as potential predators doesn't make our kids safer.

Last week, the lieutenant governor of Massachusetts, Timothy Murray, noticed smoke coming out of a minivan in his hometown of Worcester. He raced over and pulled out two small children, moments before the van's tire exploded into flames. At which point, according to the AP account, the kids' grandmother, who had been driving, nearly punched our hero in the face.

Why?

Mr. Murray said she told him she thought he might be a kidnapper.

And so it goes these days, when almost any man who has anything to do with a child can find himself suspected of being a creep. I call it "Worst-First" thinking: Gripped by pedophile panic, we jump to the very worst, even least likely, conclusion first. Then we congratulate ourselves for being so vigilant.

Consider the Iowa daycare center where Nichole Adkins works. The one male aide employed there, she told me in an interview, is not allowed to change diapers. "In fact," Ms. Adkins said, "he has been asked to leave the classroom when diapering was happening."

Now, a guy turned on by diaper changes has got to be even rarer than a guy turned on by Sponge Bob. But "Worst-First" thinking means suspecting the motives of any man who chooses to work around kids.

Maybe the daycare center felt it had to be extra cautious, to avoid lawsuits. But regular folk are suspicious, too. Last February, a woman followed a man around at a store berating him for clutching a pile of girls' panties. "I can't believe this! You're disgusting. This is a public place, you pervert!" she said—until the guy, who posted about the episode on a website, fished out his ID. He was a clerk restocking the underwear department.
