Well Played Mr. President. Well Played.

[...] White House Deputy Chief-of-Staff Katie Walsh was fired today immediately following a New York Times report which outed two National Security Council members as the source for Devin Nunes “tip” to review a specific batch of President Obama’s executive intelligence. The transparent sequence of events reveals that Walsh was the source of NYT reporter Maggie Haberman’s article; (Walsh and Haberman are “friends”).

And with the White House Leaker now identified and fired, the White House challenges the congressional intelligence committee leaders, four members of the oversight ‘gang-of-eight,’ to come and review the Obama intelligence report. That review request paints Intel Committee Ranking Member Adam Schiff, and Senate Intelligence Committee Vice-Chair Senator Mark Warner into a corner.
It's Spring. Let the indictments bloom. I wanna smell the indictments.
Gateway Pundit has this to say:
“The president and his allies have been deliberately feeding her fake information in order to find her network,” says a source close to the president’s family. “It’s been going well.”

Walsh was a #NeverTrump Republican during the campaign. Neither Walsh nor her family were supporters during the campaign, says a source from Walsh’s hometown of St. Louis.
It's like digging ticks out of a hound.

Butt Cassidy And The Sundance Kid

This kind of holster won't work very well in a fast draw contest but for CCW usage, well, not so much for that either.
An Alabama fan gave Crimson Tide nation a bad name on Tuesday when he drunkenly crashed his truck into a ditch, got detained at gunpoint by a civilian, arrested, and then busted with a stolen gun — which fell out of his butt at jail, cops said.

“It happens,” joked Sheriff Mike Blakely, of the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office in Athens.

Jesse O’Neal Roberts, 23, was taken into custody early Tuesday morning and charged with public intoxication, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, promoting prison contraband and receiving stolen property, according to police.
This story is a target rich environment, have at it.

More here and here.

Dim Bulbs

The Dems are screaming that Congressman David Nunes could face an ethics investigation for spilling classified intel beans.
... it appears that the chairman may have opened himself up to an ethics investigation by apparently disclosing the existence of a foreign surveillance warrant during a press conference last Tuesday.
Of course it's all a diversion from the real scandal, that Obama's deep state was peeking up Donald Trump's skirts.

According to the Conservative Treehouse, a former Obama administration official, Evelyn Farkas who was Deputy Asst. Secretary of Defense, appeared on MSNBC and admitted to Mika Brzezinski that she possessed first hand knowledge that the Obama administration spied on  Donald Trump’s transition team to gather 'intelligence' for political use.

Once sweet Evelyn opened that can of classified beans, she couldn't stop herself from boasting:
I was urging my former colleagues, and, and frankly speaking the people on the Hill [Democrat politicians], it was more actually aimed at telling the Hill people, get as much information as you can – get as much intelligence as you can – before President Obama leaves the administration.

Because I had a fear that somehow that information would disappear with the senior [Obama] people who left; so it would be hidden away in the bureaucracy, um, that the Trump folks – if they found out HOW we knew what we knew about their, the Trump staff, dealing with Russians – that they would try to compromise those sources and methods; meaning we no longer have access to that intelligence.
This is what happens when you put a forty watt bulb into a light fixture that clearly requires 100 watts.

Apparently Ms. Farkas was one of the sources for this New York Times article that revealed more classified intel bean spilling:
“More than a half-dozen current and former officials described various aspects of the effort to preserve and distribute the intelligence, and some said they were speaking to draw attention to the material and ensure proper investigation by Congress. All spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were discussing classified information, nearly all of which remains secret.”
Sure, I seem to make light of intel beans, but this is deadly serious stuff. People go to prison for decades for these kind of offenses. Apparently these Obama administration light weights didn't have the sense to realize the position they were placing themselves in and relied on political protection from any legal/criminal consequences. We'll see about that.

We're Not Surprised

California also leads the nation in sightings of pixies, fairies, fire-breathing pinatas and dancing butt elves. This story is from (where else?) here:
California is the top state with most UFO sightings, say UFO experts

Think you may have caught a glimpse of a metal, sphere-shaped objected looming in the night sky above? Well, your not the alone.

According to a new UFO reference book, self-published by two UFO experts, California is the top state with the most UFO sightings in the country. California is followed by Florida, Texas, Washington and Pennsylvania respectively. New York came in at 6th followed by Arizona, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio.

The "UFO Sightings Desk Reference: United States of America 2001-2015" is a deep data dive into UFO sightings reported to The National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) and the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) from 2001 to 2015, explains author and UFO columnist Cheryl Costa.
Now that the Obama's have moved out of the White House, California also has reclaimed it's lead in Sasquatch sightings from Washington, DC.

In The News

 Priorities? Yep. We Got 'Em!
There are Muslim infested areas of London where the police dare not go, drunken yobs puking and fighting in the streets, their Navy dare not leave port, Rooskie bombers zipping through their defense zones, thousands more military-age muzzie males lining up for yet another invasion and the Daily Mail decides to go with this:

Don't You Usually End A Statement With A Period?
A question is not a statement so a period would not be useful there. But it is entirely a different scenario when you use a period to get a few days off.
Italy could soon become the first Western country to offer paid “menstrual leave” to female workers.

The proposed law is currently being debated in the country’s parliament. If passed, it would mandate that companies enforce a “menstrual leave” policy and offer three paid days off each month to working women who experience painful periods.

So You Want Rock Hard Glutes, Eh?
There's a doctor who cemented her promise with a guarantee for glutes you can drive a nail into.
Fake Florida doctor who ‘enhanced’ buttocks with cement, caulking gets 10 years for manslaughter

From a Florida prison in November 2011, Shatarka Nuby penned a letter to the state’s health department about her cosmetically enhanced buttocks.

Her rear end had hardened and turned black, she wrote. Side effects from the years-old injections left the mother of three feeling sick. And she claimed her surgeon — Oneal Ron Morris — was the same faux cosmetic doctor that police had arrested and accused of pumping a near-lethal formula of cement, mineral oil, bathroom caulking and Fix-a-Flat tire sealant into other women’s bodies.

Oklahoma Justice
Broken Arrow, broken promises, broken burglars. For all your broken needs...
Three would-be robbers were shot and killed Monday when an Oklahoma homeowner’s son opened fire on them with an AR-15, authorities said.

Wagoner County sheriff’s deputies were called to the home in Broken Arrow, southeast of Tulsa, around 12:30 p.m. local time. When they arrived, they found the three dead suspects and two uninjured residents.

Sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Nick Mahoney said the suspects entered the home through a glass back door with the intent to burglarize it. It was not immediately clear why they picked that home.

Mahoney said the suspects encountered the homeowner’s 19-year-old son, who opened fire after an exchange of words. Two of the suspects died in the home’s kitchen while a third was found in the driveway.

Federal Programs Explained: The Prostitution Model

When cops would me what work I was doing with government grants, I told them I was a pimp and the Department was my stable of whores and the "john" was the state or federal government, whomever was fronting the money. The "john" wanted some action and was willing to pay for it. The cops then performed whatever the "john" wanted whether it was narcotics enforcement, juvenile delinquency prevention, domestic violence suppression, traffic enforcement or anything else. Even notifying immigration enforcement officers when an illegal alien is arrested.

To put it bluntly, we give the "john" the dough he needs to satisfy his fetish through our tax dollars and then have to perform like a circus monkey to get it back. Nice system.

For years under the Obama administration the federal "john" didn't complain when he didn't get the action he wanted, which was the notification of illegal alien arrests. Money still changed hands and the jurisdictions got paid for non-performance.

That is changing.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Monday he’ll begin punishing sanctuary cities, withholding potentially billions of dollars in federal money — and even clawing back funds that had been doled out in the past.

Speaking at the White House, Mr. Sessions said his department is preparing to dole out more than $4 billion in funds this year, but will try prevent any of it from going to sanctuaries.

“Countless Americans would be alive today … if these policies of sanctuary cities were ended,” Mr. Sessions said.
Of course not all grant programs are a waste of money. But like all organized crime, the house takes it's cut, you gotta pay the vigorish and the government vig is a very healthy slice of the take.

So Sessions is cracking the whip and getting ready to slap some ho's.

Putin Envies The Clinton Body Count

Not that I think that Vladimir Putin is Mr. Congeniality but, gee, doesn't it seem funny that Russia is now facing protests before an election? Kinda like anti-Trump protests over here?

Huh, I wonder...
Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny was jailed for 15 days after the largest anti-government demonstrations for at least five years energized President Vladimir Putin’s critics as presidential elections loom.

Navalny was imprisoned by a Moscow court on Monday after being convicted of disobeying police and fined 20,000 rubles ($352) for organizing an unsanctioned protest after more than 1,000 people were detained in a wave of demonstrations in cities across Russia on Sunday. Despite draconian laws forbidding unsanctioned rallies, at least 60,000 took part in more than 80 protests, according to the independent Ekho Moskvy radio station.
Are Russian politics a corrupt cesspool? Oh yeah.
But our own brand of American politics stink just as bad.
Gee, journalists are getting killed or imprisoned in Russia? How awful!
Tell that to Vince Foster, Ron Brown, and Seth Rich and perhaps thirty or forty others.
Sorry, you can't. They're dead.
Just ask yourself a question... how many people that you have known personally have been murdered?  I know two, both were cops. IMHO Putin has a lot of work to do if he is to catch up to the Clinton's body count.
[...]“This is just the start, and the culmination will be nearer to the presidential elections,” Vladimir Milov, one of the opposition leaders, said in a blog posting Monday. “Now our task is to force them into concessions.”
Doesn't this all sound familiar? Story here.

Putin is convinced that Hillary used her position as SecState to influence protests in Russia before a general election.
When mass protests against Russian President Vladimir Putin erupted in Moscow in December 2011, Putin made clear who he thought was really behind them: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

With the protesters accusing Putin of having rigged recent elections, the Russian leader pointed an angry finger at Clinton, who had issued a statement sharply critical of the voting results. “She said they were dishonest and unfair,” Putin fumed in public remarks, saying that Clinton gave “a signal” to demonstrators working “with the support of the U.S. State Department” to undermine his power. “We need to safeguard ourselves from this interference in our internal affairs,” Putin declared.
It really is ridiculous that the Obamas, the Clintons and their media surrogates are complaining about other countries messing with our election when the US has a storied past doing the exact same thing to just about every one else.
[...]While the days of its worst behavior are long behind it, the United States does have a well-documented history of interfering and sometimes interrupting the workings of democracies elsewhere. It has occupied and intervened militarily in a whole swath of countries in the Caribbean and Latin America and fomented coups against democratically elected populists.

The most infamous episodes include the ousting of Iranian Prime Minister Mohammed Mossadegh in 1953 — whose government was replaced by an authoritarian monarchy favorable to Washington — the removal and assassination of Congolese leader Patrice Lumumba in 1961, and the violent toppling of socialist Chilean President Salvador Allende, whose government was swept aside in 1973 by a military coup led by the ruthless Gen. Augusto Pinochet.

For decades, these actions were considered imperatives of the Cold War, part of a global struggle against the Soviet Union and its supposed leftist proxies.
Pot. Kettle. Black. Some assembly required.

Didn't See That Coming

Looks like the Raiders are moving to Las Vegas.
NFL owners are set to vote on the team’s possible relocation Monday or Tuesday at their meeting in Phoenix. Davis needs 24 of 32 owners to vote “yes,” though contingencies attached to a vote could push the final approval back to May, during the next owners’ meeting.

League sources expect the move — which wouldn’t happen until 2020 — to be approved. While the Raiders are confident enough that they were planning a news conference near the University of Nevada Las Vegas campus Wednesday, those plans could be scrapped due to the possible contingencies.

“Oakland is not really viewed as an alternative at this point,” one league executive said. “There’s nothing new on that end.”
The Raiders want a new stadium and don't want to pay for it. Oakland won't pony up so buh-bye Raiders.

I wouldn't buy them a new one either.

But Can They Tell If It's Butter Or Margarine?

I have never heard of the NGA, but I suspect their capabilities are even greater than what is reported here.
They Can See a ‘Stick of Butter from Space’ — The Billion Dollar Spy Agency You’ve Never Heard Of

While most Americans would consider the CIA, and perhaps the NSA, household names, one U.S. spy agency — whose headquarters surpasses the U.S. Capitol in size — has managed to keep to the shadows while possessing cutting edge tools of the surveillance trade.

Called the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), even former President Barack Obama didn’t know of its existence when he first took office — despite that the agency employs some 15,400 people.
They can probably tell if you need a manicure and what aftershave you're wearing from low earth orbit.

Cincinnati Shows England How It's Done

Here England, hold my beer and watch this.
One person has died and multiple victims have been shot after police say two gunmen opened fire on revelers inside of a Cincinnati nightclub.

Authorities are searching for the two shooters who fled the scene after the incident that happened around 1am at Cameo Club on Kellogg Avenue in the city.

At least 15 people were taken to nearby hospitals after being struck by stray gunfire inside the venue.

Capt. Kim Williams said there was 'just a lot of chaos, obviously, when shots were fired.

'Saturday night, it is a very young crowd. We have had incidents here in the past, but this is by far the worst.'

British Parliment Moves To Outlaw Sidewalks?

More Brits are mowed down while standing on the sidewalk, then the driver tries to drive away.
But of course it's not terror-related.
Knife-wielding teenagers driving a Peugeot Partner ploughed into revellers queuing for a pub and 'knocked them over like dominoes' in a horrifying attack in Islington.

Two men and one woman were injured on the lively Essex Road in north London before the driver and passenger sped off then got out and fled on foot.

Police who found one knife on the pavement and one knife in the car arrested four males, aged between 17 and 19, on suspicion of GBH with intent and of possession of points and blades.

With tensions high after four innocent people were killed in a terror attack on Westminster Bridge on Wednesday, police insist last night's incident was not terror related.
Story here.

Actually there is no mention of the suspect driver's racial, ethnic or religious background. It just seems like the most dangerous places in Europe right now are the sidewalks of England's cities.
