Now the starlings warn us of the pervasive dangers of socialism by forming a Soros octopus.

Where are they? Where are the protestors and the socialist millionaires who are demanding higher taxes in order to forcibly redistribute wealth in a more equitable fashion? Why aren't the unloved and unwashed camping out on the doorstep of General Electric's CEO, Jeffrey Immelt, and demanding that GE pay their fair share?

General Electric, one of the largest corporations in America, filed a whopping 57,000-page federal tax return earlier this year but didn't pay taxes on $14 billion in profits. The return, which was filed electronically, would have been 19 feet high if printed out and stacked.

The fact that GE paid no taxes in 2010 was widely reported earlier this year, but the size of its tax return first came to light when House budget committee chairman Paul Ryan (R, Wisc.) made the case for corporate tax reform at a recent townhall meeting. 

No taxes at all  -  zip, zilch, zippo, nada, neshto, bupkis, diddly-squat on $14 billion.
Must be nice to have an entire political party in your back pocket.

"GE was able to utilize all of these various loopholes, all of these various deductions--it's legal," Ryan said. Nine billion dollars of GE's profits came overseas, outside the jurisdiction of U.S. tax law. GE wasn't taxed on $5 billion in U.S. profits because it utilized numerous deductions and tax credits, including tax breaks for investments in low-income housing, green energy, research and development, as well as depreciation of property.

Immelt's new adobe is in the Bloomberg Building, owned of course by gadzillionaire NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg. It is located at 731 Lexington Ave. between 58th and 59th Sts.

Since the Mayor just tossed your asses out of Zuccotti Park, why don't some of you OWS hippies mosey over to Big Mike's digs and say "Howdy You Greedy Capitalist Swine!" to Jeff and the Mrs? Huh?

A Muslim father charged with murdering his three daughters in apparent honour killings has said he would do it again - even if they came back to life 100 times.

Mohammad Shafia, 58, cursed his daughters Zainab, 19, Sahar, 17, and Geeti, 13, saying they were 'treacherous' as he likened them to prostitutes during a conversation that was recorded by police.

He is on trial for their murders after they were found dead in the family car along with Shafia's first wife, Rona Amir, 50, in the Rideau Canal, located in the Kingston area of Ontario in Canada in 2009.

He killed Zainab because she committed the unforgiveable sin of marrying a Pakistani, in his eyes a worse sin than marrying an Irishman. The other three just pissed him off with boyfriends and subscribing to the Readers Digest.  In any event, Mohammad, son Hamed and wife #2 Tooba Mohammad Yahya are on trial over the deaths of his three daughters and his first wife.

Initially police thought the family had been involved in an accident and Shafia told them during an interview that he didn't know where they were. However, his version of accounts did not add up and he was arrested and charged with their murder.

Shafia, who moved to Canada from Afghanistan with his family, is polygamous and after his arrest was heard telling his second wife, Tooba Yahya, that their daughters had brought shame on the family. He said: 'Even if, God forbid, they hoist us on to the gallows... we accept it wholeheartedly', a day after his arrest.

The gallows is exactly what I had in mind.

The former Penn State assistant coach accused of having sex with young boys he met through his charity admits in a TV interview that he showered with boys but says he is innocent and not a pedophile.

"I could say that I have done some of those things. I have horsed around with kids I have showered after workouts. I have hugged them and I have touched their legs without intent of sexual contact," Jerry Sandusky told NBC News' Bob Costas in an interview to air Monday night.
