Full-Figured Potential

We here at GNN hold the belief that a "husky" girl makes a better employee. She's strong, cheerful, eager to please and more likely to have a bundt cake on her desk. Mrs. Goomba #8 and Mrs. Rhod #6 were cut from this jolly, well-fed pool. But all good things can be metabolized away.

The marital situation went south for both of us after a spell of aggressive dieting by the ladies. That meant no more stuffed shells and other delights for supper, but that's another story.

The Goomba boiler room is a tough place for the ladies, especially with DC's...ahem....tendencies, and LL's musky allure.

But there are other consideration too, for female employees. Consider THIS advice from Transportation Magazine for July, 1943. All of us here are waiting for the advice to be reprinted in Forbes.

"6. Give the female employee a definite day-long schedule of duties so that she will keep busy without bothering the management for instructions every few minutes. Numerous properties say that women make excellent workers when they have their jobs cut out for them, but that they lack initiative in finding work for themselves."

So then, why does Opus get so upset with my personal little "Gal, git this done!" lists? Next time, Rhod, our Homes & Garden reporter will be a zoftig big-boned girl. They're more easy-going.

This could be true. I don't know. But an angry big girl is not something to fool with.

Yeah, Nickie. NO wrath like the wrath of a wraith. I had to do the last Fruit Minute for Goomba's Victory Garden by myself.

"Full-figured" is better for hugging, i'd say. i'm a hugger and like sharing bear hugs -- and it's true, full-figured figures seem more earthy and mother-nature-huggable. i'm kind of on the "less-full-figured" side, so when i hug my mom, she usually complains that i'm too bony and that it HURTS her!!! But i can't afford (literally$) to be "full-figured" because i don't want to have to buy "bigger-figured" clothes, and at 5'1" -- i'll end up looking like a 4x4...so i'll settle for hugging the "full-figured" without becoming one.

RLN, GNN has a position in Human Resources that involves brief hugging, and perfunctory consolation for terminations.

Interested?

Rhod... uhh... thanks, but no thanx! You know i'm a CHRISTian and therefore only give honest-to-goodness sincere hugs, no fake hypocritical bears hugs here... besides these super-duper hugs are free... ain't for hire or for sale. You just gotta be a friend of The ROCK and you've got yourself a hugger-of-a-sister!

But thanks for getting a giggle out of me :D
