Welcome Home
Our daughter is finally returning from Afghanistan. That's her, the pretty one in the middle.
We're all taking off to Fort Bragg in a few hours with a short overnight in Maryland at my sister's. We will stay with some friends who are Upstate NY transplants now living near Emerald Island on the coast, just 3 hrs east of Bragg. Our daughter is assigned to the 525th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade who was deployed in Task Force Thunder since last year. Thank the Lord she is safe and on her way home. Right now she is at the Manas Transit Center in Woowoostan or Whateverstan.
I probably won't be posting for the next week so be good you guys and don't fight.
See ya.

Congratulations on her safe return, and thanks for raising someone who is willing to serve.
My eyes are moist with happiness for you.
Thank God she's home safe and sound!
Sig94: What a great relief it must be to have her coming back safe. No doubt you'll all enjoy your time together, even in this withering heat.
Tell her that some fat guy in West Virginia says "God bless you for your service!"
I understand your relief and joy she's returned safely. Make the most of each day with her and have a relaxing time.
