Occupy The Skies

Starlings in the UK celebrate the NYPD beat down of OWS socialists by forming a dolphin being chased by a killer whale. Ain't it wonderful how life irritates art?

Now the starlings warn us of the pervasive dangers of socialism by forming a Soros octopus.

The British starlings are a lot more intelligent than our college grads.

Amen, Brother!

A flock of starlings that size would likely only produce half the guano that a typical OWS mob could dump on the sidewalks or on police cars in a day.

Large flocks of starlings are called murmurations and they are awesome. Check it out on this short video:

Gorges - they do form some curious patterns subject to even more curious interpretations.

Doom - Soczilla?

Ian - like birds they have managed to crap all over everything in their path, make a lot of noise and generally make a nuisance of themselves. If only we could teach OWS to eat bugs.

Fredd - bugs. Let them eat bugs. When they run out of bugs, let 'em eat each other.

Ralph - who makes up these words?

Sig94,

I don't know, that's a new one for me. I always thought murmuration was a contraction for the murmuring nation of Israel complaining to God in the wilderness.

By the way, I am a collector of rhinoceroses and a group of rhinos is called a CRASH.

Starlings are all democrats. This is some kind of trick.

Ralph - I always thought murmuration was something your mom would beat you for if she caught you doing it while wearing any of your sister's clothing.

However, anything that has to do with a bunch of rhinos should be called a crash.

Ralph - wow. You actually spelled rhinonosesses, or rhinoseriouses, or .... that.

Kid - British starlings used to be fairly conservative until the Labor Party passed a law nationalizing all birdseed. And as you know, starlings are a flighty lot.
