LL: since Land Rover is part of British Leyland, I believe they still use Lucas as their electrical systems vendor, and your hood camera would be spliced into that mess.
They don't call Lucas 'the Prince of Darkness' for nothing.
Fredd - my brother was a mechanic specializing in repairing and rebuilding/restoring British sports cars. Haven't heard that expression about Lucas in a loong time. Heh
