The "public option" is nothing more and nothing less than government-run health care. Americans have figured that out, and they don't want it. So what do you do when you're desperate to sell a product nobody wants? You rename it.

This is their end run around shoving a public option down our throats. There isn't one program the government has started that hasn't gone to shit.
What worries me is that the renaming might be enough to snow RINOs like Snowe.
The elitists in the Congress are angry that people stood up to them, made them back down and look foolish. So they'll tie a bow on the pig and try and show everyone that it isn't a pig anymore.

The line in the sand was drawn with Socialized Medicine/Healthcare and they will fight tooth and nail to get it through. And, NO, they won't take the program for themselves.

Seriously, I can't even IMAGINE the amount of Health Insurance money that stands to be re-routed through DC if they can pull this off. They're not giving up on it.
We have to last until early 2011, when hopefully enough people will be animated enough to go to the freakin polls and vote some of these vampires out.
