These accidents have a way of happening. It's the Chicago Way.

God forbid. When you buy Bufferin on the street, you never know what your getting. Then there risky marmalade, and the occasional shard of crusty gorgonzola.

My Dear friend.

I have an honest and sincere question for you.
How can you allow your name and your avatar picture to be associated with that republican/conservative HATER, filth monger Truth101?
I beg you to remove it.

Just my 2 cents.
Thanks

Great post. I got a good laugh from it

You're right, Ope. Every city has its own traditions. Nothing is more special than Valentine's Day in Chicago.

Mammon, I've suspected that for some time. Osama's death would fuel worldwide calls for an end to any military actions against 'innocent' muslims.

LL, Uncle Johnny also said... "Get your goddam feet off that dashboard or you're not gonna know what hit you!"

Thanks, Woody. Now, put on a happy face.

No, DC... Freddy "The Whiz" Calabrazzi died last Autumn in a tragic home juicer accident.

Rhod, what I've always appreciated about street Bufferin is that the first one is always free.

Thanks, Right is Right.

I have rarely ever had to censor comments here. People of all political positions have visited and, in the great majority of instances presented colorful and spirited opinions civilly. And, believe me, there is a WIDE range of the political spectrum who read this blog. And so many of those folks could readily identify another's input as hate or filth.

When I've done so, it's been because...

1. Someone has decided to flog cellphones or sex here.

2. Someone has lifted profanity to a new inspired level.

3. Someone has decided to argue just for the sake of showing off their ability to argue.

4. Someone has once been married to me, or has decided to make a point by insulting me personally.

As a Conservative, I tolerate being uncomfortable with the opinions of folk because Freedom of Speech demands it. The American who would want voices silenced because he/she felt uncomfortable or offended probably doesn't have a full grasp of the whole Freedom of Speech thing.

I respect your right to petition my support, and I promise to responsibly and enthusiastically monitor the goings-on here for hate or filthy content.

Mammy, I'm blushing all over.
