I think Sara underestimates the support of Israel by a large segment of the American people.
The "retirement" of Helen Thomas was announced quickly, with little discussion as to the merit of her departure. While not a Hearst News Service fan, I applaud their decision. I just hope Ms. Thomas was told why she was being shown the door.
I worry, however, of the Obama administration's commitment (or lack thereof) to Israel, especially in the face of the Iranian threat. It is quite apparent that his loyalty lies with the sons of the crescent, not with the sons of the sons of David.
I still can't internalize the sort of support the anti-Israeli, barack hussein obama, seems to continue to enjoy among Jews in the US. That Jews would remain as key members of his regime is shameful.
I really like the "Biggest Loser" photographs included in this wonderful article. Shows just what amazing things you can accomplish when you stick to the Eichmann Diet Plan™. Or when the likes of Hellin Thomas forces you.
She touched on the real item of discussion in this topic. The land in tug of war, was a barren sore sight for the eyes; until the Jews moved back and made it work- flowered and produced food to eat (fed the Palestinians). This is the real fight. The Jews have to be run out of there because the mere fact that stuff grows for them proves the Koran wrong and the Torah right!
Israel surely has a plan to defend itself. I think they will have to. Surely, Iran is much further along to their bomb than the 'estimates'. There are enough rogue scientists around from Pakistan for example to make it happen.
I'd like to point out that the Arab world offers no product to the rest of the world other than the oil they sit on, while Israel offers a myriad of products and intelligence from the only place without natural wealth in the ME. There is just something very Earth-Natural to that. Like having it snow like hell everywhere al gore goes.
My daughter spent almost a year at the American university in Cairo studying Arabic (she is currently almost done with her training as an Army). She very graphically pointed out the difference between Egypt and Israel: Israel has existed only since after WWII and the country is like a huge garden. Egyot has been around for almost 4,000 years and it is a shithole.
For an amzing comparison, Google Earth Israel and move towards Gaza where the Palestinians rule. It goes from lovely shades of green to shit sandy brown and the line of demarcation is not vague; it looks like it was drawn with a ruler. That's arab controlled Gaza.

Great read. This gang of Marxists will be the ruination of America if it doesn't stop soon. Look at this oil Spill, 50 days and still counting and now he is ready to kick ass - 49 days too late to kick anything! He should have 'kicked' into gear weeks ago and had tankers vacuuming oil at the scene, he should have 'kicked' into gear when shrimp boats were waiting to go into the gulf and skim oil, instead sat idle waiting for someone from our government - I said our government, not BP, to give them the word to go out, he should have 'kicked' into gear when Jindal asked for the sand berms to start being dredged - any kicking now needs to be to this administration for failing to move when states were begging for help - I live in this area and I am ready to kick someone!! I love our coast, have a home in Grand Isle, La. and am furious at the lack of action, lack of leadership, the attitude of let's wait to start until we get the check from BP. Kick into gear government!! Be responsible for our coast land, our gulf, our environment, our marshes, our wildlife, our fisheries, our way of life for generations. The impact is already tragic, hearings in Washington, the dog and pony shows are not going to help that - focus on that later. Get kicking into action and get the check later!! Obama has to go the way that Helen Thomas went! OUT!
American Girl, Yes, exactly. All they know how to do is talk and attack capitalism. But they've been extremely happy about this oil leak. They love it. It will help them take over the next largest business in America after Health Care - The energy complex.
Dems are for the environment though aren't they. Where's those %^%^%$heads on msnbc and elsewhere screaming for obama's head ? They don't care. Never did.
I have said it before on my blog- myself- and more than a few others would love to see the entire county of Israel pack up and move over to New Zealand.
We have pieces of practically unused land bigger than what they already are living in.
