JK - Just Kidding. She's really a laugh a minute.
Once again we are presented with clear evidence that the democrats want to reduce America to the status of a third world country - the United States of Venezuela. Why continue to have elections when our legislators are so busy turning America into a socialist swamp? Why allow elections - as we have done during every war, every natural emergency for the past 230 years - when we can have El Congressmano-for-Life instead?
This was a comment that North Carolina Gov. Beverly Purdue made yesterday."You have to have more ability from Congress, I think, to work together and to get over the partisan bickering and focus on fixing things. I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won't hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover. I really hope that someone can agree with me on that. The one good thing about Raleigh is that for so many years we worked across party lines. It's a little bit more contentious now but it's not impossible to try to do what's right in this state. You want people who don't worry about the next election."
Now her office says that she was only joking. Riiiiight. No way this sounds like she was joking.
This "joke," if that's what it is, sounds like she pulled it out of her ass rather than Capt. Billy's Whiz Bang.

C'mon, where's your sense of humor? Democrat politicians are always fantasizing and joking about canceling all elections. It's just a different point of view. It's - well - diversity. Yeah, diversity. That's the ticket.
Nickie - Oh, those Dems, such kidders they are.
Of course this one (Obugger's former director of the Office of Management and Budget)is kidding also when he calls for "less democracy to counter gridlock" here:

Siggie, can we even begin to imagine what these Marxist thugs are gonna come up with the next year? I, like you, am concerned.
It is a glimpse of things to come. Now they are comfortable enough to talk about it. The next election will be much more than interesting.
Yup, there's a part of me that wonder's if we'll look back at 2012 and refer to the year as The Valley of the Shadow.
Admiral - it will be downright vital to wrest control of the government from thses maniacs.
Andy - I'm wondering if 2012 will be the American Revolution Redux
Keep your powder dry.
It looks like even darker days are ahead. Saying that these Liberals/Marxists are for diversity of thought is like stating that the Pope isn't Catholic.
