I Got To Take No Steeeeking Poll!

From PJ Media - in a nutshell:
53% of Americans actively refuse to answer poll questions.

The real breakdown chart should look like this:

38% could not be reached
53% were contacted but actively refused to answer
9% cooperated and answered the polling questions

Or, put another way:

Out of every 7 people contacted by pollsters, only 1 will answer the polling question, while the remaining 6 refuse to answer.
Read the rest here.

I'm called all the time and refuse to answer their questions. I'm told I'm counted as undecided.

Let's not forget they call people during the day, when the vast majority of conservatives are at work.

And I Always lie when polled. Profusely.

Surely you're not (GASP) saying polls are worthless!

I love this thing. It is way too funny in way too many ways. Of course, it means that the power that be can use the polling as justification (or cover) for cheating.

Kid,

I like your ways. I will be pondering them... on the tree of woe. Which... I sort of live on, so it's no real trouble. Thanks for the notion.

Odie - same here. They'll probably lie about it anyway.

Kid - and they can not call all the "Obama Phone" people because they are constantly on their free phones screaming obscenities at each other or babbling on about how they baby daddy be gettin' in they grill alla time and they welfare ain't enough for cigarettes.

Gorges - of course they're not worthless. They're used all the time to push opinions and mislead the public. Very valuable indeed.

Doom - this was a very interesting article. We'll see how it holds up as a model in the next few weeks. Hey! It's only a month away!

A while back some college aged pollster working for the HHS came to our door and asked specifically for my wife. Seems she wanted to talk to the better half about "reproductive rights" and other related issues. The wife was asleep at the time and said afterwards she had no desire to have her words and opinions twisted to fit some numbskull's agenda.

The pollster returned THREE TIMES after that. Each time I relayed what I'd been told, each time it was evidently discounted. Finally "she who must be obeyed" called the damned office this fool worked out of and left a message for her to leave us alone! Guess my saying so didn't have much weight.

But hey, I told the chick I'd be very happy to answer her questions. She never took up that offer. Wonder why?

BTW, sorry about the hassle of comment verification on my blog. I've been having trouble with trolls.

The no pain, no gain attitude doesn't only apply to the physical pain of working out too hard. It applies to the idea of getting through something difficult in order to reap the rewards later. Without this attitude, some give up on their goals as they are only thinking about the stress of the moment. In some cases a child becomes overweight caused by a medical disorder. Often times it is from not eating enough of the proper things to eat and insufficient physical exercise. As a freelance writer, I often look to write articles on important topics that are making the news, things people want to read about, topics that help people grow, change, learn something new, empowering, affect change or just make someone feel something or thing in a positive way. Becoming a member of a fitness center isn't always a requirement. The fact is, you can always exercise in the comfort of your own home so long as you have the right tools. It pays to have workout equipment like an elliptical machine, a treadmill, dumbbells, jump rope, balance ball, and numerous others because they allow you to exercise anytime you have enough time to do so.
