Driving home from picking up my new kitchen floor tile I took this picture of a train with about a half mile of military equipment attached to it. I drove by it twice and could not see the end of it from the overpass.
It was parked for at least 40 minutes on a rail right next to the NYS Fair Grounds. It was headed east. I have lived here for over thirty years and have never seen anything like it.

Sig, it's headed to the scrap yards.
Surely FEMA isn't getting ahead of the game for the approaching storm?
More like getting ready for the expected rebellion when Obama declares martial law upon losing the election!
Kid - I dunno. Many of those vehicles had guns on them. I saw up-armored humvees with chain guns and fiddy cals on them.
Mamma Bear - not unless FEMA now stands for Firearms, Explosives, Mayhem and Artillery.
Gorges - that's what I'm thinking. There's been lots of stories about military movements in cities and communities across America in the past six months. It's always prefaced by "exercises."
I would like to bet that there's just a little more resolve on our side.
