Bomber #2 In Custody

They found him hiding in a boat under a tarp. There was another exchange of gunfire and he was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries. He is listed as in serious condition and has lost a lot of blood.

Residents formed an impromptu corridor and gave a standing ovation as the cops packed up and left.

This was a tweet at 8:58 PM from the Boston PD police minutes after the surrender:
CAPTURED!!! The hunt is over. The search is done. The terror is over. And justice has won. Suspect in custody.
But this message was a little premature, justice has not won, there will be no justice until the gravel slams down on the judge's bench and a sentence is imposed.

Let's see how many lawyers this kid gets.

The cops looked jubilant but tired, exhausted. There is not only a physical cost but also a tremendous emotional toll that is imposed on the men and women who worked this detail.

Jay son - indeed they do. Pray for the families of all the dead and wounded, that they be comforted, healed. And a prayer of thanksgiving that this crisis is now over.

I pray only that they learn, and really think about what is happening here and abroad. Adjustments have to be made, or will be forced. Pain teaches. Horror strengthens. Stupid, emotional, and definitely the mix, kills.

Doom - I fear that this country si almost too far gone. It seems that only through crisis that America loses it's obsession with wealth, beauty and senseless pleasure. I fear that God will put America in to such a crisis that the lesson with be seared into our hearts and minds for generations.
