And I don't blame them. Draconian measures are needed to stop the leaks.

From Breitbart:
The world’s closest intelligence sharing arrangement is in jeopardy after key details and photographs from the Manchester bombing were apparently leaked by United States’s law enforcement sources to domestic journalists, leaving Manchester Police and the British government — who are collecting and analysing the finds — “furious”.
The United Kingdom has now stopped passing intelligence gathered as part of the investigation into the Manchester bombing to the United States according to claims made by the British state broadcaster BBC.
While British police had discovered the identity of Salman Abedi, the suicide bomber who killed 22 in Manchester on Monday, the name was withheld from the media initially for operational reasons. Yet less than 24 hours after the attack took place, American newspapers citing “government sources” were able to name the attacker.
[...]The nature and speed of the leaks by these U.S. officials have caused “disbelief and astonishment” in the British government.

We have a very leaky swamp.
We need to lock the leakers up.
But who can be trusted to do the investigation? Certainly not the FBI.
While this is a terrible betrayal, it may be what it takes to get ahead of the leaks. If nothing else, it makes it absolutely clear what Trump really is facing. Now, the people who are betraying this admin, and nation, don't care about either or even our allies. That has been clear for a long time. Zero and Hillary were more on the side of any traditional enemy than any real ally.
This just might be what it takes to allow the Trump admin to open up with the big guns and take out the serious threat to our democratic republic, even our allies. And, yes, I am quite behind him. I don't like the idea, but marshal law and some serious rooting around, and holding the owners and editors of "news" responsible, directly, for damages to national and international security. Hold them responsible for any deaths and damages from their allies and actions from those they help or warn off. Just do it.
I read Trump is going to fire some people (3). They need to be brought up on charges and put in jail. That will have an effect on leaking.
Kid,
I think it's too deep for that. On the good side, I believe president Trump's travels have made it clear that foreign leaders respect and fear Trump. That... has given him real support here at home, and some political power to spend. That was a very good call, and he played it very well.
Pewster - that's what swamps do. We need to make it a parking lot.
LL - is there anyone left who is allowed to waterboard? If so, them.
Doom - I have been thinking along the same lines. Declare martial law and let the Marines start dragging people into waterboarding camps.
Kid - rump needs to axe the entire top layer of the bureaucracy.
No, really.
With an axe.
I'm down with that. Can replacements be found? I'd take a position.
Kid,
Same. Have axe, will travel. :p
