The Focke-Wulf Fw 189 Uhu ("Eagle Owl") was a very successful Luftwaffe reconnaissance aircraft used extensively in the Eastern Front. It was unarmed, could carry a 3 man crew, had a combat radius of 420 miles and top speed of less than 250 mph but was extremely maneuverable. It could avoid being shot down by Soviet fighters simply by flying in very tight circles. The Soviets called it "The Frame" because of it's box like silhouette in the sky. About 850 of these aircraft were produced. There is only one in existence today.

Lockheed's P-38 "Lightning" was a heavily armed, 400+ mph fighter. It could also carry two 1,000 bombs and with drop tanks it could be flown across the Atlantic, eliminating the need for transport by ocean born freight.The German Luftwaffe called it "Der Gabelschwanz Teufel" (The Fork-Tailed Devil). It was that good. It was the first USAAF fighter to be delivered to the RAF under its own power. With a range of 2,500 miles, it was the most important fighter in the Pacific Theater.

Japanese mastermind Adm. Yamamoto was killed by a P-38 that shot down his transport plane. Of course the US Navy had broken the Japanese military cypher codes by then so the P-38's had a good idea where he would be. Lockheed manufactured over 1,000  of these fighters in variants up to the P-38L. The Air Force retired the Lightning in 1949.

The arrest comes after Breitbart Texas exposed not only the horrors of the mass extermination, but also the cover-up and complicity of the Mexican government.

And the idiot democrats are raving about the evil that Trump represents. Authorities estimate that perhaps 300 men, women and children were kidnapped, tortured and burnt to ashes by members of the Los Zetas drug cartel.

And Trump is the new Hitler? Why isn't the media all over this horror?

Mexico is a failed state and President-elect Trump knows it. Our borders have become an object of ridicule to millions; monsters can come and go as they please and ravage America the same way. This is part and parcel of the Alinsky strategy that Pelosi, Clinton, Obama and all the rest of the communists in government have embraced.

Despite the magnitude, news outlets in both the U.S. and Mexico largely ignored the story as cartels continued to reign in that country with impunity. After Breitbart Texas’ exposé, authorities charged a handful of Los Zetas members in connection with the incinerations inside the prison, but public officials had managed to escape scrutiny.

The governor at the time of the massacre, Humberto Moreira, was accused and later released in Spain for having been a surrogate of the Los Zetas cartel–however he, too, has managed to avoid facing a judge in Mexico. Moreira had various assets seized by U.S. courts.

The Daily Mail can be a mite hysterical at times. Like this article on American soldiers executing SS prison guards after liberating the hell hole of Dachau.

My FIL served in an armored unit under Patton's 3rd Army at the end of the war. He liberated a prison camp; he never would talk about it. All he would say was "Those poor bastards." He did talk about the SS soldiers he saw strung up by their necks along the German roads.

An American WWII doctor told how he calmly watched US soldiers massacre German SS guards in the Dachau concentration camp because they 'SO HAD IT COMING'.

Captain David Wilsey wrote to wife Emily that he did not have a 'single disturbed emotion' because he saw the Nazis as 'SS Beasts' that deserved to be slaughtered.

GIs tortured them by making them stand for hours in Heil Hitler salutes and pouring iced water over their naked backs before they were shot dead.

Captain Wilsey also bragged about looting the camp supplies for eight days in an apparent collapse of the rule of law among the troops.

The items he stole included twin sweaters for him and his wife - it is not clear if they were from victims who died in the camp - and Swastika banners he planned to use to decorate their basement.
The letters were reported by the New Republic and come after Daily Mail Online published the details of a new book which also addressed what happened at Dachau.

They cast new light on the actions of US soldiers who were confronted with the horrors of the Nazi concentration camps and offer some insight into how battle-weary troops reacted as the full extent of the atrocities committed in Dachau - and other similar places - were revealed to them.

Leaders of Jewish communities and Holocaust memorial groups in Britain and the Netherlands have reacted with rage and despair at the arrival in Rotterdam of the world’s biggest ship, the Pieter Schelte, named after a Dutch officer in the Waffen-SS.

The vice-president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, Jonathan Arkush, said: “Naming such a ship after an SS officer who was convicted of war crimes is an insult to the millions who suffered and died at the hands of the Nazis. We urge the ship’s owners to reconsider and rename the ship after someone more appropriate.”

Esther Voet, director of the Centre for Information and Documentation on Israel (Cidi), based in The Hague, said that the timing of the ship’s arrival, shortly before Jews were targeted and killed in Paris and the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, was “a coincidence, I’m sure, but a sign of the times. We lost our battle to have the ship’s name changed, and we are left eating dust.”

Under direction of the Nazi SS, Pieter Schelte was director of the Dutch East Company which was charged with the "colonization of Eastern Europe." He was responsible for picking up Dutch men who were put to forced labor in Nazi-occupied Baltic territories in Eastern Europe; hundreds lost their lives.

Schelte hated Jews and was quoted as saying "The German race is model. The Jewish race, by comparison, is parasitic ... therefore the Jewish question must be resolved in every Aryan country." Some 70 percent of the Netherlands' 140,000 Jews perished in the Holocaust.

Schelte allegedly joined the resistance before the war ended but he fled to Switzerland were he was apprehended (by whom?) in 1944. Maybe he did have a change of heart but his wedding was celebrated in Nazi publications and prominent Nazi's were in attendance. I also think that more than a few guilders changed hands in covering his ass - this guy had some bucks.

The Schelte is the world's biggest ship, over 1,250 feet long and 407 feet wide.

The Waffen SS

The Waffen-SS (Armed SS) was created as the armed wing of the Nazi Party's Schutzstaffel (SS, "Protective Squadron"), and gradually developed into a multi-ethnic and multi-national military force of Nazi Germany.

The Waffen-SS grew from three regiments to over 38 divisions during World War II, and served alongside the Heer (regular army) but was never formally part of it. Adolf Hitler resisted integrating the Waffen-SS into the army, as it was to remain the armed wing of the Party and to become an elite police force once the war was won. 

Yeah, I'd name the world's largest ship after him. This POS died in 1981; obviously his family is trying to rehabilitate his name. After the war he did not dedicate himself to humanitarian purposes to atone for the hundreds he helped kill. He pursued money. I doubt any of it went to the families of the men he killed.
