OBAMACARE

What would a health care system look like if it were designed by Socialists, college students, obese film makers, or Democrats? Here's a sneak preview.

This is an excellent documentary. I like how the worst criticism comes from the health care workers themselves.

Can you imagine the futility of trying to provide fast quality care within that system?

It reminds me of the DMV.

great link. Man, that's scary!

In the Obama Nation, abortions will be provided quickly and efficiently. Timely, quality care for other conditions will occur in back alleys at night.

Jane, you certainly look fit. Thanks for the comment.

Pup,

There's nothing more frightening than a back alley root canal.

I was reading Goomba's article "Trepanning Without Tears" in the current Home Surgery Quarterly. Talk about alternative medicine!

Yup,

Black & Decker are my surgeons.

Ok, ok, ok, alright, I give, uncle! I'll take Bush back, I'll take Palin, I'll take a chimpanzee, I'll take a dead ficus, just for christ sake, please wake me up from this nightmare!

Queries:

1) Will there be back-alley v-sectomies?

2) Will those trapped w/in the wrong gender have to needlessly wait for medical care ... or will we see back alley choppas- and addas-, as well?

I love it -- a government clinic worker recommending a private clinic. It's the shape of things to come.

DC, districts of Hartford are notorious for back-alley vasectomies. They take your wallet after the procedure.

Oh, my gosh. Rhod (Savior Thesaurus) sent me running to the online dictionary again with that trepanning reference. Hilarious. Good one, Rhod.

BTW, a little off-subject, so all you blog-youngins just indulge me a moment as I share story with St. Nick and Rhod ... I had to ban (I finally did it) Charlie/PW, because I finally decided that life is too short to: a) get cursed out on your own blog repeatedly; and b) conduct therapy sessions for free.

But we still have our memories, S. Thesuarus ... That was Charlie's magnum opus (just ahead of his Network-like screaming at all us "f-ing hateful people!!!!" and then passing out/disappearing for a few days). I think of "Saviour Thes" every time you send me scrambing to the dictionary.

Thanks for obliging me, Nick. Just wanted to share that. Thanks to the rest of you for not cross-talking.

Never fear, though, if PW comes in here strafing in his Sopwith Camel, you have a pretty good batallion with modern weapons and ready for action. It should be a short and glorious fight.

Dillinger,

We've come close to granting your wish. We have a ficus as Leader of the Senate.

PCC,

Wait 'til you have to search for that private clinic.

The only people with private health care will be the politicians. Not one of them wants to subject THEIR families to rationed medical care.

Daisy,

I always enjoy your strolls down Rue de Recollection.

I truly believe that Rhod adds the class to our blogs that so many others lack. He is surely the Fred Astaire of commenters. PW was more the Junior Samples of ranting... entertaining for a while, but leaving you longing for style and substance.

BTW --- Transgenders will have greatly improved care. There's some talk of a 24-hour turnaround time.

Anonymous said...

Junior Samples? Man, that is an oldie but goodie. Plus, Charlie used to sell pickup trucks, like J. Samples Auto Sales.

BTW, if you want to call PW, his # is BR549.

Thanks, Gregg. Gotta say that I'm enjoying your site.

Govt health care, in contrast to the practice of medicine, is a version of Animal Farm and we're the animals. It's the final progressive ambition of establishing a permanent class system in the most intimate areas of life, while calling it economic egalitarianism. Newspeak at its finest and most wicked.

I'm a pessimist on the issue. The liberty we've enjoyed on this continent for two centuries is a historical anomaly. Every free society, especially prosperous ones, eventually scramble for statist slavery in order to perpetuate their comforts. That's what single-payer is ultimately about.

We're probably going to
