Waiting for Godot ...

or a Democrat to save the day. Well, Bart Stupak has caved, I guess. Did any one really expect to see the Demos really do something good for the country when the chips were down? Demo pro-lifers? Give me a break.

As for me, it's not about taking back the House/Senate; it's the country, stupid. Repealing this is going to take a lot. Plus, Obama has the keys until 2012, at least. Now, he'll get his foil (likely Republican majorities) to run against.

But hey, all you who wanted to teach us a lesson, bankrupt the country, and put our national security at risk ... mission accomplished.

This is what happens when the Demos/Left/Same Things are allowed to run the country.

This is the alternative. The alternative to Republicans is not perfect governance.

The alternative is the Democrats.

How do you like them Demo apples?

When the Senate Dems caved on the abortion portion of the healthcare bill I told my wife that I would have to see the pro-life House Dems hold to their pro-life convictions in order to believe that they have pro-life convictions. Obviously, they don’t. I’d like to be the fly on the wall while Stupak is shaving tomorrow morning. Will he be able to look himself in the eye?

Sure he will. He's a Democrat. There is no real place in the Demp party for pro-lifers. Check out Gateway Pundit. There is a You Tube video where they caught him on tape saying he's support pro-abortion healthcare reform.

He pays lip service to being pro-life, but in the end he is a big-govt. socialista.

We still have the SCOTUS.

And We the People still have a few options too.

Just sayin'.

Yes, Chris, we have options. I will not give up the ghost. It's still my country.

But it's not like we have the Scotus ... btw, Obummer is getting ready to appoint some one in place of Stevens ... and also Ginsburg.

It's a long road. Those optimistic about a Republican takeover fixing things are going to find it tough sledding. You think Obama is going to sign anything they pass?

There is a reason the Demos have worked so hard to get this camel's nose under the tent.

Stupak talks a good talk. But his record tells a different story.Look at the vote to defund Planned Parenthood.Stupak voted against defunding them.Planned Parenthoos is the number 1 abortion provider.

Stupak didn't "cave". He's just another Donk whore, steaming up the camera lens. Even Judas got paid.

The YouTube video of this jughead slimebag at Ace's HQ says it all.

Indeed, Fuzz and Rhod. There is also a piece by Mark Steyn talking about the point we were discussing above -- this is worse than we even thin and it will be very difficult to repeal.

Pretty smooth move on the part of B.O.m this Executive Order will be a real headache.

If the EO stands, we have yet another expansion of power for the Executive Branch of the government. If it fails, B.O. can have the healthcare bill as originally planned, plus he can still paint himself as prolife ("But it wasn't MY bill, it came from Congress. I TRIED to get rid of abortion funding but the Supremes nixed it").

Only the willfully gullible will go for that one as Planned Barrenhood, NARAL, etc. laugh themselves all the way to the bank.

Pretty atute observation Subvet - interesting!

You all may call me an alarmist or an extremist, I don't believe I'm either. But I've been saying for the past nine months that a physical war is coming to America. I don't know if it will be civil, class, or race (it could be any one of the three) and I obviously don't know when, but it is inevitable at some point in the future. Too many Americans will not allow a socialist government. And Obama knew it going in. Why else would he be looking to create a "civilian security force as well equipped as the military"? Becuase the military has sworn an oath, and they meant it, to serve and protect the Constitution of the United States - unlike most of those reptiles in Congress who swore the oath only because it was required - and Obama knows that. Food for thought...
