It didn't appear to help them.
Out of the 34 who voted against ObamaCare, nearly two-thirds were fired by their constituents; 21 of these Democratics lost their jobs (62%) in the 2010 elections.
These are the numbers.
This means that about a third of last Tuesday's Republican pickup in the House of Representatives was comprised of Democrats who crossed party lines and voted against ObamaCare™.
Hmmmm. If this keeps up, 2012 will be the icing on the Conservative cake.
Our Hostile President
Can we do it? Can we maintain this level of involvement? We are at war, the President of the United States has already identified us - patriotic Americans - as his enemies.
We have to do it.

One of these reps, Michael Arcuri, represents my district.
He voted for ObamaCare on the first house vote. On the second House vote, he waited until ObamaCare locked in and his vote wouldn't change the outcome, and then changed his vote to No.
He didn't really cross party lines. He followed Pelosi over the cliff, figuring that the unwashed masses wouldn't notice or care.
This? a subject that inpact the policy world, but we can see that the influence? NCIA conservative yet? strong.

QR - I'm right next door in the 25th District. Maffei is just as bad, probably worse as he is a Rangle clone. Good riddance to the both of them.
Good News Sig, People are actually thinking it would seem.
I am not sure what to think. I honestly believe that it was not thinking people, but the middle afraid of not having a job or actually having lost their job, who made the difference. My guess is, if jobs come back in droves, all will be forgotten. I hate to say it, but that is how I am seeing things (when I choose to be more objective).
I would hate to have to pray for continued high unemployment... so I won't. I will, instead, pray that my objective assessment is incorrect. No worries either way, I will still be grumpy. :p
@sig. Maffei a Rangle clone? Yuk. That does sound bad.
Here's hoping the Dems aren't permitted to "find" a couple of bags of ballots "misplaced" in a closet somewhere. New York needs Buerkle to take that seat.
Doom, you crack me up. Consider, though, how will jobs come back? What is Obama going to do? Become a Republican?
This Healthcare Bill is kryptonite. If Mitch McConnell has a bayonet in his teeth, you know the enemy on the other side of the door is already calling for a medic.
When somebody declares himself to be my enemy and then goes about threatening the well-being and future of my family and loved ones, I know exactly what to do.
Dragging my feet and complaining is the least of my options.
QR - I haven't seen them yet, but I understand that soon we'll all be tripping over election lawyers here. I guess the conventional wisdom holds true, all lawyers stink unless they're your lawyers.
DC - I hope both McConnell and Boehner keep their initial resolve and drive a stake through the ObamaCare vampire's chest.
Zio - hopefully the next two years will not be as ugly as the last two.
Nickie - let the bodies hit the floor.
I am cross posting this.Thank-You for posting this.
If I research it, will I find that Obama didn't actually refer to you (or the American people) as his enemies? might I instead find that he was talking to Latinos about (what they called) the enemies of Latinos?
