The Cost Of Ungodliness

The Canada Free Press speaks about something which you won't find in the NY Times or many other publications for that matter, the spirit of antichrist. We're not talking about a foul, dark, loathsome winged creature that arises after midnight and preys upon the weak-minded. It is far more insidious than that. For one, the spirit of the antichrist is a denial of Christ's relationship with God the Father and man. Call it whatever you will for it has many names: Humanism, Progressivism, Communism or Socialism - wherever man is elevated above God and answers only to Man's authority, that is a manifestation of the antichrist.
Americans have abandoned their ancestral faith and practice, a subject affecting all persons, including the indifferent and non-religious. Therefore we can say a spirit of anti-Christ is unleashed. This is not to be confused with “The Beast” of Revelations whom many believe will come to establish an infernal kingdom on earth before the end of times. Instead, this general spirit opposes Bible teaching, contradicting the doctrines of Jesus and the Apostles, here illuminated by changing practices on marriage.
Forgive me if I cut to the chase. As we have abandoned the faith, as we have distanced ourselves from God, our behavior has taken a disasterous direction. We are returning to the days of Noah, before the Flood when men did whatever was right in their own eyes. And they were judged severely.

Today we live in an age of grace, but there are still a series of consequences that have accrued. Marriage has taken a heavy hit in the process and, despite liberal protestations, it torments our Nation. American families were built upon the foundation of a permanent relationship between a man and a woman - a marriage whereby God's longstanding command to reproduce could be accomplished in an environment conducive to proper child rearing.

It doesn't take a village, it takes a marriage.

Today, over seventy percent of all black children are born out of wedlock, fatherless. For Hispanics it is now fifty percent, for whites it is twenty-four percent. Research has indicated that these children will face a wide range of disadvantages and dangers.
•63% of youth suicides are from fatherless homes.—[U. S. D.H.H.S. Bureau of the Census]

•90% of all homeless and runaway children are from fatherless homes; 85% of all children that exhibit behavioral disorders come from fatherless homes.—[Center for Disease Control]

•80% of rapists motivated with displaced anger come from fatherless homes.—[Criminal Justice and Behavior, Vol. 14 p. 403-26]

•71% of all high school dropouts come from fatherless homes.—[National Principals Association Report on the State of High Schools]

•70% of juveniles in state operated institutions come from fatherless homes.—[U.S. Dept. of Justice, Special Report, Sept., 1988]

•85% of all youths sitting in prisons grew up in a fatherless home. —[Fulton County Georgia Jail Populations and Texas Dept. of Corrections, 1992]

•40% of children in America do not live with their fathers.—[US News and World Report, February 27, 1995, p.39]
Don't go away, we're not done yet. Compared to children who are raised with both biological parents, children who are raised with a single mother are
"33 times more likely to be seriously abused (so that they will require medical attention); and 73 times more likely to be killed."
Source-[”Marriage: The Safest Place for Women and Children”, by Patrick F. Fagan and Kirk A. Johnson, Ph.D. Backgrounder #1535.]

And these are not all the costs. Whether you read the paper or online news media, look at the young people involved in shootings, narcotics trafficking, school disturbances, substance abuse and violent family attacks - for the most part they are the product of ungodly lifestyles. These are the people who have embraced the spirit of antichrist and celebrate the false supremacy of man. I speak as a retired cop. My twelve years on the road were mostly spent in poverty striken, high crime areas. I was in and out of these homes countless times and I now see the names of grandchildren of the people I arrested thirty-five years ago on arrest reports. The same family structure lacking two caring parents produce children with the same antisocial, violent behaviors. This is killing America.

I would just like to commend you on your courage in bringing spiritual matters to peoples attention!

To me it's the most important subject we can broach at this time. At this juncture in history most are aware of all the disasters and turmoils surrounding our world, but so few are exposing the REAL cause!

Thank you for your courage and truth!

you nailed it. The breakdown of the family has been more devastating to society than any other problem.

Thank you Gloria Steinem and Lyndon Johnson for all that you did.

Excellent conclusion. I have unfortunately seen this a lot in my line of work.

I offer an old line and most likely a racist one but neverthless true; What is the most confusing day in Detroit? Fathers Day.

That line can sadly but easily be applied across all races across the entire nation.

An aside, as in Europe this situation if you will makes it easier for the cult of islam to move in as their is a vacum that requires filling in the absense of God. What they offer is worship to the Beast or by name Satan.

So yes, this can indeed be called the Anti-Christ.

Avops - there are underlying causes for all things that vex us. This will destroy us as a nation.

Trestin - almost all the problems we face in the criminal justice system are directly attributable to the disintegration of the family. Traditional American law enforcement was geared to handle the 1% or 2% of the public who are knotheads and who just don't get the program. Once we get above those numbers we start losing our freedom as society gears up to handle the onslaught of mopes. As lawlessness multiplies, liberties divide.

Odie - they should all be thanked with 2X4's.

Simeon - It is so hard for me to encourage young people to go into law enforcement today knowing the difference between now and 1974 when I first entered the profession. Be careful out there Simeon.

Chris - Yes, I have seen those cards addressed, "To Whom It May Concern." We have 16 and 17 year old black males bragging how thay already have three or four children. We had an assault a while back, two black girls fighting and one stabbed the other because she called her a "virgin." Imagine, the chaste and pure qualities of a virgin is now viewed as a slur, an insult. The black culture has literally gone to Hell.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for following my new blog.
I will add a link on my page to the article above. The Rev. David Wilkerson of the Times Square Church, N.Y., N.Y. wrote about this in his book "Set The Trumpet To Thy Mouth" (quote from the Book of Hosea) back in the early 1980s. It seems as though his prophetic insights re. the future of the U.S. have largely come to pass ( God bless your "ministry of truth". I look forward to following your blog.

This is why I stand that the Family is sovereign. The State will take the children from family homes and start with the propaganda that the parents are unfit. According to who's standards? The Liberal State workers with the psychological degrees? The Welfare Dept. divided the family for the monthly check. Incremental tactics designed for the separating the fathers from the children-to not thinking there has to be a marriage, or being a husband to the girl they knockup or a father to the child.
Like you said, they brag about how many baby's they have but take no action in the welfare of the child's up bringing.
> I heard the propaganda (marriage and the family unit was all about bloodlines) on the National Public Radio in the 1990's about how they were advancing their gay and free sex motives---to destroy the family unit in this country!<
