Egyptian Police Foreplay

You can tell which cop is the intern.
He's the one stomping the woman with his Air Allah sneakers instead of combat boots.

Protesters and security forces fought in Cairo on Sunday, the third day of clashes that have killed 10 people and exposed rifts over the army's role as it manages Egypt's promised transition from military to civilian rule.

Soldiers and police manned barriers on some streets around Tahrir Square, the hub of the uprising that ousted President Hosni Mubarak and again convulsed by violence as protesters demand the generals who took charge in February quit power.

Police in riot gear made brief forays beyond their barriers and were met by a surge of protesters pelting them with rocks. Police appeared to have taken over the frontline from soldiers.

Troops in riot gear were filmed on Saturday beating protesters with long sticks even after they had fallen to the ground. A Reuters picture showed two soldiers dragging a woman lying on the ground by her shirt, exposing her underwear.
I'm so glad my daughter left Cairo four years ago. She saw some Egyptian cops in action and they are horribly brutal.

They can't win Sig; It's against the laws of physics.

I fear for women who get arrested over there. I heard a bunch of them had to submit to medical "virginity" examinations.

Kid - when you are stuck in the 7th century, who cares about the laws of physics?

Opus - I shudder to think of what atrocities that procedure may require.

Whatever they are, I bet it was performed on the street in front of God and everyone.

Odie - it is nothing more than organized mayhem.

It's closer to a homicidal troglodyte frat party than a religion.

Sig, they may not care, but that doesn't mean they can avoid them.

Kid, Obama repealed most of those laws.

From Obama's 2009 speech in Cairo:

"America and Islam are not exclusive, and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles – principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings."

I notice he's not going to visit the pyramids on his vacation.

Quite - Egypt is not known for its PGA quality links. Egyot is also notknown for its tolerance/dignity/progress or justice as last October's murder of Coptics by members of the police and Islamic radicals testifies.
