What You Don't Hear About Muslims

We view Islam from the outside. We see Islamic-inspired hatred expressed in the mutilation and slaughter of innocents and react accordingly. But Muslim fanatics are even more likely to kill their own people than infidels. They do this to spread fear, fear of leaving Islam for another belief.  The Prophet warns his followers:
Qur'an (4:89) - "They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them"

(Islamic Law) 8.1 - "When a person who has reached puberty and is sane voluntarily apostatizes from Islam, he deserves to be killed."

Bukhari (84:57) - [In the words of] "Allah's Apostle, 'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'"

Bukhari (89:271) - A man who embraces Islam, then reverts to Judaism is to be killed according to "the verdict of Allah and his apostle."
But in Africa and even in Asia it is not working. Stay with the following videos; it takes a little while for the first one to get to the meat of the matter but, in Africa, Mohammad is losing followers like Obama is losing voters - to the tune of 6 million a year, perhaps more. It is estimated that perhaps 30 million muslims a year are convertingto Christianity. And they are being baptized in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The imams are worried.

Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

Our former pastor is now the head of an international Christian outreach program. He tells us that their efforts in Africa, especially North Africa, are very successful, but they keep it low key for obvious reasons. There is a movement of the Holy Spirit within Muslim nations and Islam is reacting violently against it. Witness what is happening in Nigeria where a minority Muslim population in the north is attacking the majority Christian population in the south.

This couldn't be happening at a better time, or fast enough.

Several of our local churches support Missionaries in Africa. I am glad to hear others reporting that it is working and many people are being led to the Lord!

The sooner more Christians in the world...all the better!

Yes, there has been and continues to be Muslims leaving Islam for Christianity, but why? Could it be that 1.6 billion Muslims are shamed by the less than 10% of their members who are the intractable, blood seeking fanatics who refuse to advance passed the middle ages?....Bump

I've heard of this elsewhere but not very often. It's one of the under reported stories of our time.

Is the cult of Islam such a frail hothouse flower of ideology that it falls apart when exposed to the realities of the 21st Century?

cruXsader - there is an answer and it is found at the cross.

Mamma - I really need to talk to Keith again (the pastor I referred to in the post) and get an update.

Dixon - I don't think shame has much to do with it. Islam means "submission" and was spread under threat of a sword. In Christianity the Good Shepard dies for his sheep. Under Islam the shepards murder their sheep. IMHO the sheep eventually learn the difference.

Subvet - it truly is. That hothouse flower is kept that way by the fires of hell.

Odie - if God wants to take Islam apart piece by piece, so be it.

Zepp - as humans we all too frequently accept what we see and hear as the ultimate truth. If only God would open our eyes as He did for Elisha in 2 Ki.6:15-17.

This is a great sign but at the same time persecution, in the very real and physical let alone widespread sense, of Christians continues unfettered.

One wonders if the number of conversions to Christianity and those of Christians being slaughtered is on par, or the former winning the day?

Chris - I believe that the conversions far out number the deaths. Yet the deaths are also an important witness. Who would die for something that they think is false? Muslims see this and have to wonder.

Sig, While I agree as to the witness part I wish to clarify my comment as I stated "slaughtered".

This is not an action of to die for something or say martyrdom but rather being murdered for just being due to others evil intolerance.

I highly doubt those converting to Christianity do so just to be cut-down. If so they are missing the entire point and furthering the cause of those who kill them.
