Give Major Hasan What He Wants

How good to see you Major. We've been waiting for you.

From the Associated Press:
Army Maj. Nidal Hasan was convicted Friday in the 2009 shooting rampage at Fort Hood, a shocking assault against American troops at home by one of their own who said he opened fire on fellow soldiers to protect Muslim insurgents abroad.

A jury of 13 high-ranking military officers reached a unanimous guilty verdict on all charges — 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder — in about seven hours. Hasan is now eligible for the death penalty.

Hasan had no visible reaction as the verdict was read. After the jury and Hasan left the courtroom, some victims who survived the shooting and family members began to cry.
The guy wants this. He plans on this. He expects to receive a reward for this, his wholly acceptable act of savage worship to a heathen idol.

The US Army should accommodate Maj. Hasan's wish as soon as possible. Nothing barbaric, a simple firing squad will suffice. Aim for the heart, get it over quickly. Remand his remains to his family and allow them to handle the funeral arrangements in peace.

What will never be completely understood about Hasan's murderous activities is his shock at what transpires as soon as his soul has shucked off his mortal coil. He expects a glorious welcome to Paradise. Instead, he will experience what countless billions have already received, an eternity of absolute, utter terror, condemnation, hopelessness and regret.

But what is hell? Is it flames? Darkness? Nothingness? I found this interesting reference.
Several years ago a book was published, entitled Beyond Death's Door by Dr. Maurice Rawlings. Dr. Rawlings, a specialist in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, resuscitated many people who had been clinically dead. Dr. Rawlings, a devout atheist, "considered all religion "hocus-pocus" and death nothing more than a painless extinction". But something happened in 1977 that brought a dramatic change in the life of Dr. Rawlings! He was resuscitating a man, terrified and screaming — descending down into the flames of hell:

"Each time he regained heartbeat and respiration, the patient screamed, "I am in hell!" He was terrified and pleaded with me to help him. I was scared to death. . . Then I noticed a genuinely alarmed look on his face. He had a terrified look worse than the expression seen in death! This patient had a grotesque grimace expressing sheer horror! His pupils were dilated, and he was perspiring and trembling — he looked as if his hair was "on end."

Then still another strange thing happened. He said,"Don't you understand? I am in hell. . . Don't let me go back to hell!" . . .the man was serious, and it finally occurred to me that he was indeed in trouble. He was in a panic like I had never seen before."

(Maurice Rawlings, Beyond Death's Door,(Thomas Nelson Inc., 1979) p. 3).
Perhaps the terror of hell is indescribable.

What does Jesus say about Hell?
  • "fire" Matt 7:19, 13:40, 25:41
  • "everlasting fire" Matt 18:8, 25:41
  • "eternal damnation" Mark 3:29
  • "hell fire" Matt 5:22, 18:9, Mark 9:47
  • "damnation" Matt 23:14, Mark 12:40, Luke 20:47
  • "damnation of hell" Matt 23:33
  • "resurrection of damnation" John 5:29
  • "furnace of fire" Matt 13:42, 50
  • "the fire that never shall be quenched" Mark 9:43, 45
  • "the fire is not quenched" Mark 9:44, 46, 48
  • "Where their worm dieth not" Mark 9:44, 46, 48
  • "wailing and gnashing of teeth" Matt 13:42, 50
  • "weeping and gnashing of teeth" Matt 8:12, 22:13, 25:30
  • "torments" Luke 16:23
  • "tormented in this flame" Luke 16:24
  • "place of torment" Luke 16:28
  • "outer darkness" Matt 8:12, 22:13
  • "everlasting punishment" Matt 25:46
While living above the sod we will never know this torment. Hopefully none of my readers will.

Maj. Hasan seems determined to know it. Then by all means, let him.

Hanging, Firing squad, and electrocution are all too good for him. If they are going to shoot him, the squad should use JIHAWG ammo (tips infused with pig fat).

LL - It would be a pleasure if we could kill him over and over and over again.

As it is, there is just the one time. I am firmly convinced that nothing we can do that is worse than what already awaits him.

Since deathbed conversions are always possible, I believe this is a case where life imprisonment would be best. From what I've read that bastard is in constant pain due to his paralyzing injuries. Lock him up with the minimum amount of pain meds prescribed, to be administered by a Jewish female nurse. Let him handle about 30-40 years of that before he meets the author of his "religion".

Subvet - they're treating this guy with kid gloves. He'll get the same in prison as long as the Islamic sympathizers are running this country. I say off him and set up a tollbooth near his grave to collect a fee for pissing on his grave. Send the proceeds to the survivors and next of kin.

Sig, gotta admit that would give the survivors more in the way of compensation than they're currently getting for this "workplace violence".

Throw him out of a plane, at a thousand feet, into a pig pen.

Subvet - the decision to label this as workplace violence boggles the mind. I cannot for the life of me see how the Army can do any recruiting after this.

Odie - I would add the Pigskin Wrap/Bacon Enema in flight.
