Evolution: FAIL

Seems that the evolutionists have been served another sticky wicket in their attack on those who believe in a divinely inspired Creation.
U.S. geneticists say a second code hiding within DNA changes how scientists read its instructions and interpret mutations to make sense of health and disease.

Since the genetic code was deciphered in the 1960s, scientists have assumed it was used exclusively to write information about proteins, but University of Washington scientists say they've discovered genomes use the genetic code to write two separate "languages."

One, long understood, describes how proteins are made, while the other instructs the cell on how genes are controlled. One language is written on top of the other, which is why the second language remained hidden for so long, a university release said Thursday.
The more you open this mystery, the more you find out that you have more to unravel. Yet in their blindness they continue to attribute the unique qualities and capabilities of DNA to their goddess "Nature."
"For over 40 years we have assumed that DNA changes affecting the genetic code solely impact how proteins are made," UW genome sciences Professor John Stamatoyannopoulos said. "Now we know that this basic assumption about reading the human genome missed half of the picture. These new findings highlight that DNA is an incredibly powerful information storage device, which nature has fully exploited in unexpected ways."

Parts of the genetic code have two meanings, one related to protein sequence, and one related to gene control, the researchers said, and both apparently evolved in concert with each other.

The gene control instructions appear to help stabilize certain beneficial features of proteins and how they are made, they said.
This only strengthens the intelligent design community,

There they go, invoking evolution, again. The way to answer whether this process evolved, or not, is simple. Look for the meanest of living creatures, those with seeming little or not "evolution" to them, and decide if their genetic codes also have this process occurring.

If it does, then there was no evolution. It means this process didn't evolve, but was part of how life itself exists, which would then plug many more holes against the notion of evolution. It is a simple procedure to check. Give or take. If the DNA of an amoeba also writes a hidden code on the back of protein instructions, then it wasn't an evolutionary step.

Some could argue that higher life forms sent DNA coding downward, somehow, but that doesn't make sense. Oh, they will twist and turn to try to put that cat back in the bag, but...

Doom - never thought of that. And in the midst of all of that, how did all these instructions somehow lead every organism to death? Everything dies (OK, some bacteria and viruses last a looong time) in it's time - I still haven't heard the evolutionary justification on how death entered that equation and is part if the gene sequence in the DNA of every living organism.

Everyone is right. Just ask them.

Progressives (none of whom believe in God), will find a way to discount anything with a cluck of the tongue.

Surely this is nothing more than mud getting hit with a meteor and then a lightning bolt. Right? Maybe some salt and pepper added.
