Horsewhip, String Up, Rinse, Repeat

These guys need to get bounced --- hard. They should lose everything.
NEW YORK (Reuters) - A second wave of retired New York firefighters and police was arrested on Tuesday on disability fraud charges tied to a September 11 pension fraud, said a source involved in the investigation.

A massive ongoing investigation by Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance's office had, in January, led to disability fraud charges against 106 suspects - 80 of them retired New York cops and firefighters - with some accused of falsely claiming to have been traumatized by the September 11, 2001 attacks on the city.
This is truly despicable. There must be a resounding penalty to this to discourage others from defrauding the public trust.

And you can bet that some guys with bad injuries got nothing. Stuff happens.

WoFat - sure 'nuff. The NYS disability pension seems to run on a coin toss. We had a cop get shot and the slug really screwed up his shoulder, but he couldn't retire and yet he wasn't fit enough to go back on the road.

They're bred to act like this.

I agree with Odie to some degree.

How about those big strong LA cops who were 'righteously' compelled to beat a whimpy man who was deaf Unconscious after he dared try to communicate with them using sign language.
Yea, we can easily imagine them feeling their lives were in danger....

NSA? Naw, I'm more worried about running into these kinds of cops while out and about.

They're not getting much good press lately and I know there are many great cops out there.

I work with a retired NYPD cop who went through 9/11 and he is incensed over this. There will be more coming too.

These guys were real fools about it, very brazen. One guy went on disability, moved to another state and got a job with another police department there.

WTF??
