Hitler was most decidedly a man of the left, and hardly a right winger. He named the party he founded the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei; the national socialist German worker's party, or Nazi Party.
Socialism by definition has never even been close to what anybody would call right wing.
Communists and socialists go hand in glove. But the loonies are oh so fond of labels, even when they're wrong.
I'd sell my business for a lifetime supply of chocolate any day!
And Fredd is absolutely correct about Hitler. Fascism is often considered a "right wing" policy, but has little to do with the precepts of conservative thought (which is actually rooted in classical liberalism).
And last but not least, our founders were the most socially liberal of all. Today's liberals are fascists, and many republicans want to control people too much to call themselves conservative.
We've gone FUBAR. Have fun and forgetabouddit.
