Things To Consider

My newest grandchild is six months old.
He is here several times a week as his mom works.
He is the cutest little thing ... for a eating, drooling, puking, crapping machine.

People who love their cats also want to lick them.
Or so some idiot hopes.
Consider the Licki Brush.
No, I will not link this sick obsession.

The Republican House just passed the American Healthcare Act.

I don't like cats anywhere near that much.

LL - same here. They're okay but they're not dogs.

Now everyone can read what's in it.

The Likki brush looks like it doubles as a pacifier!

Curmudgeon said...

It IS a pacifier. It's for the mentally vacant.

Odie - I would love to be in earshot of Obugger as his legacy comes tumbling down around his jug ears.

Mike - I tell ya, there are people who will use that thing. Mostly single, unattached ....

Curmudgeon - bet on it, some nutcase will try using that on his girlfriend. Or on his pet python.

No cat licking in this cat loving house.

Kid - never doubted it.

All I can say, is, most likely, thankfully most people don't think about sex, marriage, and children, before they go into it. You are on the hook for the rest of your life. Still, it's not a bad thing, if you... find your way to God, wisdom. But on a purely, individual, natural, native, rational, humanist level... marriage mostly, but children and then grandchildren thence... is... not rational. Somehow? Still... glad you are stuck. In both the good and bad ways. :p

When mostly dead, cats are great. They are needy, like dogs. Now, as to "licking"? Not so much. Every once in a while, I'll give them whisker tickles, with whatever beard growth I have. They fuss like children and women when you do that, though actually like it better, I think. Anyway...

As to the AHA? We'll see. It still has to go through both the senate and probably reconciliation. Is there even a real conservative in the senate? Still, it's... a step closer to... something? Build. The. Wall. Though, really, I am, for the most part, satisfied. I don't think Trump, or anyone, can do more. Most would have done less. They, even when they are on are side, quite often really aren't. Not on most things. Just understand that. Still, better than not, I think... probably.

I have cats. No, I will not lick them.

The AHA is a total failure. It is NOT what we elected them to do. We elected them to get rid of Obamacare and put things back the way they were.
And talk about double speak:
Increase the amount of premium subsidies for younger adults, and reduce the amount for older adults, while allowing subsidies to be used to buy individual plans outside Obamacare exchanges.

Allow older adults to be charged premiums that are five times higher the premiums charged younger adults, instead of the 3:1 ratio established by Obamacare.

So what is it? Lower premiums or higher?

And why, exactly, do the rich get a tax break? Why not the little people? Oh, right, because I supposedly get a bigger deduction. Maybe. But probably not.

I wish Ryan would be thrown out. And I wish we could find a good litmus test for RINOS before we vote them into office on their claims of conservatism. Maybe a test on what is actually in the Constitution.

Gee, no one here wants to lick a cat?
