(INN) — Muslim student Amran Hussain, speaking on behalf of the European Union of Jewish Students, recently spoke out for Israel a session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, where he castigated the Council for anti-Israel bias.

“Why is Israel consistently and conspicuously singled out for condemnation on the grounds of human rights violations, yet the world turns a blind eye to the human rights situations in the Arab countries . . . or the Far East . . . or Africa?” he asked.

Hussain told the Council he came to the session “to remind you of the moral obligation we all have here today to protect the only country in the world whose very existence is constantly under attack.

“The world was very quick to condemn Israel for defending itself from unrelenting rocket and mortar attacks from Gaza. I ask you, what about the human rights of Israeli Jews, Israeli Muslims [and] Israeli Christians living constantly in fear of attacks from Hamas.”

How long do you give this kid before some mullah issues a fatwa demanding the removal of his head? I say a week, maybe two at the most.

The Cost Of Ungodliness

The Canada Free Press speaks about something which you won't find in the NY Times or many other publications for that matter, the spirit of antichrist. We're not talking about a foul, dark, loathsome winged creature that arises after midnight and preys upon the weak-minded. It is far more insidious than that. For one, the spirit of the antichrist is a denial of Christ's relationship with God the Father and man. Call it whatever you will for it has many names: Humanism, Progressivism, Communism or Socialism - wherever man is elevated above God and answers only to Man's authority, that is a manifestation of the antichrist.

Americans have abandoned their ancestral faith and practice, a subject affecting all persons, including the indifferent and non-religious. Therefore we can say a spirit of anti-Christ is unleashed. This is not to be confused with “The Beast” of Revelations whom many believe will come to establish an infernal kingdom on earth before the end of times. Instead, this general spirit opposes Bible teaching, contradicting the doctrines of Jesus and the Apostles, here illuminated by changing practices on marriage.

Forgive me if I cut to the chase. As we have abandoned the faith, as we have distanced ourselves from God, our behavior has taken a disasterous direction. We are returning to the days of Noah, before the Flood when men did whatever was right in their own eyes. And they were judged severely.

Today we live in an age of grace, but there are still a series of consequences that have accrued. Marriage has taken a heavy hit in the process and, despite liberal protestations, it torments our Nation. American families were built upon the foundation of a permanent relationship between a man and a woman - a marriage whereby God's longstanding command to reproduce could be accomplished in an environment conducive to proper child rearing.

It doesn't take a village, it takes a marriage.

Today, over seventy percent of all black children are born out of wedlock, fatherless. For Hispanics it is now fifty percent, for whites it is twenty-four percent. Research has indicated that these children will face a wide range of disadvantages and dangers.

And these are not all the costs. Whether you read the paper or online news media, look at the young people involved in shootings, narcotics trafficking, school disturbances, substance abuse and violent family attacks - for the most part they are the product of ungodly lifestyles. These are the people who have embraced the spirit of antichrist and celebrate the false supremacy of man. I speak as a retired cop. My twelve years on the road were mostly spent in poverty striken, high crime areas. I was in and out of these homes countless times and I now see the names of grandchildren of the people I arrested thirty-five years ago on arrest reports. The same family structure lacking two caring parents produce children with the same antisocial, violent behaviors. This is killing America.

Please Don't Shoot Me, I'm Not The Bartender

The US Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS), is a goldmine of information for the law enforcement researcher.

In 2009, approximately 572,000 nonfatal violent crimes (rape/sexual assault, robbery, and aggravated and simple assault) occurred against persons age 16 or older while they were at work or on duty, based on findings from the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS). This accounted for about 24% of nonfatal violence against employed persons age 16 or older. Nonfatal violence in the workplace was about 15% of all nonfatal violent crime against persons age 16 or older.

It also provides guidance on where not to get your ass kicked while working.

There is some good news, nonfatal workplace violence is down. Of course the BJS does not mention if this decline resulted from the fact that there are far fewer workplaces in the US now than there were 16 years ago.

From 2002 to 2009, the rate of nonfatal workplace violence has declined by 35%, following a 62% decline in the rate from 1993 to 2002.

Between 2005 and 2009, law enforcement officers, security guards, and bartenders had the highest rates of nonfatal workplace violence.

Among workplace homicides that occurred between 2005 and 2009, about 28% involved victims in sales and related occupations and about 17% involved victims in protective service occupations.

The following rates of workplace violence are per 1,000 employed persons age 16 or older. For all occupations, the average is 5 incidents of workplace violence per 1,000 employed persons.

Less than two years after his release, Brown shows up on the DEA radar and they take him down for dealing. There is finger pointing going on between Brown and the man arrested with him regarding who had the heroin in the car, but that is just a side show. This man doesn't need to find trouble, he generates it like refried beans generate wind.

Trouble followed him after his release. Andrew Bishop, who lived with Brown in Syracuse after Brown’s release from prison, said in court papers that in 2008 Brown was regularly using heroin and the prescription painkiller OxyContin.

Bishop claims in a lawsuit that Brown defrauded him out of $38,000 on a house deal. Bishop, who has a public-access television show in Auburn, had befriended Brown and was planning to produce a documentary about his ordeal, the lawsuit against Brown says. Bishop filed a complaint with the Cayuga County sheriff’s office in 2008 claiming Brown had threatened to kill him and county prosecutors.

Susan Weichert claims in another lawsuit that Brown reneged on a signed contract to buy a home from her at 3195 Main St., Mexico. After he moved in, Brown failed to make payments, Weichert’s lawsuit said. She claims Brown owes her $250,000.

Deep Kimchi

This went viral about a year ago, it is worth repeating. A reader of the April 28, 2010, issue of the Prager Zeitung made the following comment.

Weekend Tunes From The 70's

Their 1976 album, "Taking It To The Streets," was the first time Mike MacDonald sang with the Doobie Brothers. He took the band in a new direction, more jazz than rock. My favorite Doobie songs feature MacDonald as the lead singer. This is one of my favorites.

The next year, 1977, saw the Doobies produce another album, "Living On The Fault Line," which featured a song written by Mike MacDonald and Carly Simon. I liked Carly's arrangement better (I like wailing sax) so I included this instead of the Doobies version.

Prayers Needed - 101st Airborne Division

While the media obsesses on Libya, American are still dying in Afghanistan.

Maj. Gen. John F. Campbell, commanding general of the 101st Airborne Division, said a tough battle in which six U.S. soldiers died Tuesday continues in Afghanistan.

Campbell spoke to reporters at Fort Campbell during a video conference from his headquarters in Bagram on Thursday and said that 117 members of the 101st have died in battle since last March.

The latest deaths came during ongoing combat to clear insurgents from eastern Afghanistan. Campbell said he couldn't discuss details because the operation was ongoing but called it a joint mission involving NATO forces, the Afghan national army and border police.

Campbell said the area where the soldiers were killed in the Kunar Province is a known insurgent hideout but said a significant number of insurgents have been killed in the battle.

The Pentagon has released the names of soldiers after reaching their families. Staff Sgt. Bryan Burgess, 29, of Cleburne, Texas; Private First Class Dustin Feldhaus, 20, of Glendale, Ariz., Sgt. 1st Class Ofren Arrechaga, 28, of Hialeah, Fla; Staff Sgt. Frank E. Adamski III, 26, of Moosup, Conn.; Private Jeremy Faulkner, 23, of Georgia; and Spc. Jameson L. Lindskog, 23, of Pleasanton, Calif., all died Tuesday when enemy forces attacked their unit in the Kunar province of Afghanistan.

The work of the armed forces continues apace. As Americans we may or may not agree with their presence in Afghanistan, but we support our men and women who serve in harm's way and wish them safe return to their loved ones.

"When you see your buddy die, I know they're saddened by that, but they want to make sure their battle buddy didn't die in vain," said Campbell. "They fought valiantly; they'll continue to fight. We're still in this fight right now. I don't want to go into too much detail about that. As far as morale with the rest of the soldiers, they know they're doing great work, very noble work. The only hope for the Afghan people in many of these places is the coalition forces of the Screaming Eagles."

There are qualities that ordinary people display during moments of crisis that they never knew they had. People rise to the occasion in ways that amaze us. But to walk into a busted reactor nuclear time after time is hard to fathom. My hat's off to these men and my heart goes out to their families.

Workers at the disaster-stricken Fukushima nuclear plant in Japan say they expect to die from radiation sickness as a result of their efforts to bring the reactors under control, the mother of one of the men tells Fox News.

The so-called Fukushima 50, the team of brave plant workers struggling to prevent a meltdown to four reactors critically damaged by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, are being repeatedly exposed to dangerously high radioactive levels as they attempt to bring vital cooling systems back online.

Speaking tearfully through an interpreter by phone, the mother of a 32-year-old worker said: “My son and his colleagues have discussed it at length and they have committed themselves to die if necessary to save the nation. “He told me they have accepted they will all probably die from radiation sickness in the short term or cancer in the long-term.”

We saw the same vehicles dragging the bodies of dead American soldiers through the streets of Mogadishu in 1993. Ten years later we saw them ramming around Tikkrit, again trying to kill our GI's.

It doesn't matter to them for if they're not killing fellow Muslims they'd just as soon be killing infidels, especially the Great Satan variety. We're getting involved in Libya where one day they will be singing our praises and the next day they'll be planting IED's outside our barracks.

In for a penny or in for a pound. Don't doubt it for a second, we're in. And this time it's for that sweet, light crude that Libya is chuck full of. This is mother's milk for Europe. At 2006 extraction levels (1.8 bbl per day), Libya was estimated to have over 60 years of oil reserves. Most of Libya is still unexplored for possible oil formations due to sanctions disputes with oil companies.

Who were those sanctions against. Who was squabbling with the oil companies? Hmmmmm?

Once Gaddafi is gone the real battle will start over who gets to divy up Libya's oil soaked goodies. But until then, someone has to keep the fight going. The US didn't intervene when 800,000 Tutsis were slaughtered in 1994. In 2004 American F-16's and F-18's did not fill the skies over Darfur either. In 2009 the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for the President of the Sudan, Omar al-Bashir, for crimes against humanity. Have the Marines landed there yet?

Both sides in the Libya conflict are running short of weapons and ammunition after almost two weeks of intense fighting that has brutally exposed the military shortcomings of the rebels, the Guardian has been told.

The rebels were forced into yet another retreat on Wednesday, with Muammar Gaddafi's forces regaining much of the territory taken by them at the weekend and threatening to humiliate the western coalition by again coming within striking distance of Benghazi. Concern is deepening in the coalition about the rebels' fragile morale and lack of military experience to mount a sustained challenge to the regime.

A military stalemate is now a real possibility, partly as both sides are struggling to re-equip their forces. With fighting continuing in Misrata and regime forces pushing east as far as the strategic town of Ajdabiya, the issue of rearming has become paramount.

Starting last week, stories of Al Qaeda fighters "liberating" surface-to-air missiles and other munitions from Libyan armories have been reaching western allies. And Obama denies that he will provide even more arms to these rebels...

Two strict vegans have gone on trial in France charged with "neglect or food deprivation" after the death of their breastfed 11-month-old daughter who was found to be suffering from vitamin deficiency.

Sergine and Joel Le Moaligou called an ambulance to their home in the village of Saint-Maulvis – 90 miles north of Paris – in March 2008 after their daughter Louise became listless. By the time paramedics arrived, the baby had died.

The police were alerted after the ambulance crew noticed the baby was pale and thin and a doctor refused to issue a death certificate. A postmortem showed the child, who had been fed only on her 37-year-old mother's milk, weighed 5.7kg when she should have been about 8kg.

[..]At the time of their daughter's death, they were running an organic food business and refused to eat any animal products. Daquo said they had a mistrust of traditional medicine and preferred to treat their children's complaints with advice from books.

"The couple did not follow the doctor's advice to take the baby to hospital when they went for her nine-month checkup and found she was suffering from bronchitis and was losing weight," he said. Instead they treated her with cabbage poultices, mustard and camphor and washed her with earth and clay instead of giving her baths, the court heard.

This happened a while ago, but three months after her birth, one of my daughters was not gaining weight fast enough according to the pediatrician. My wife was breast feeding her and instead, put her on the bottle. The weight gain went to normal in a very short time. She felt very badly that she could not provide the proper nutrition and that she mught have been hurting our baby.

Parents should be more concerned about their child's well being than any "natural" lifestyle considerations.

Lefties always feel good about making sacrifices for their beliefs. Unfortunately they always make someone else to pay for their sacrifice. Sergine and Joel are about to find out what those costs are as they face up to thirty years in prison if convicted.

Insanity Update

It doesn't make sense to provide security and firearms training to people swore to murder your allies, does it? Yet that's what we are doing with Palestinian security officers.

Palestinian terrorists stabbed five family members to death in the settlement of Itamar early Saturday morning; three children, including a baby girl, were among the victims. The killers slashed the baby's throat. Later that day Palestinians handed out candy to celebrate the mass murder.

Another of Allah's Hallmark moments for his mindless, bloodthirty hordes.

After a thorough investigation two Palestinian officers were charged with planning the attack.

The Idaho Press reported: Palestinian cousins Ahmed Awad, an officer in Abbas' Preventative Security Services in the northern West Bank city of Nablis, and Iyad Awad, an officer in Abbas' General Intelligence services in Ramallah, have been charged with planning the attack. Informed security sources said the two did not personally carry out the murders but assisted in the planning and logistics, including aiding in the escape. The actual killers were sleeper cells from Hamas. These men were armed, trained and funded by the U.S.

There should be a manufacturer's return policy on these idiots. Return them to Gitmo for disassembly by the USMC.
