No Newts Is Good Newts

The first time I ever seriously considered Newt Gringirch as a politician was in 1994when the Repubicans initiated the Contract With America. I thought to myself, too bad his name is Newt.

Now I think, too bad he's Newt.

I never seriously considered Newt as presidential material. Neither do his campaign staff who up and quit on him last week. Newt's loyalty to those closest to him is questionable as his actions regarding his battery of former wives attest to.

Now Newt's daughter has aready laid to rest the false story about Newt divorcing his first wife while she was in the hospital being treated for cancer. However, his long term affair with a Congressional staffer 23 years his junior does grind me a bit. I don't care if he did eventually marry the harpy. And for Heaven's sake, someone teach that woman how to blink.

Her skin has been stretched as tight as a drumhead. Botox or surgery? She looks a bit like a white hair'd Pelosi.

I thought that he was going to re-launch his campaign today. If he did, I don't think anyone cared enough to show up. I think that people who contribute to Newt at this point should consider their money well lost.

LL - He's got to be delusional if he thinks he's got a shot at the Presidency. He has about as much chance as getting the nomination as a Muslim woman standing up in a mosque, announcing that she's converted to Christianity and that she's pregnant with a missionary's baby and leaving the mosque alive.

Your headline says it all!

Funny, I see Mr. Gingrich as having a seat at the table, but not at the head of the table. He clearly has much to contribute, but I don't see him as Chief Executive stock.

I'm still shaking my head over him saying he wants State Run healthcare versus Federal Run healthcare. WTF doesn't he understand about 1) government HC sucks, and 2) 70% (which equates to 100%, same as 4% unemployment equates to 0) are Against It and 3.) The freakin House got the majority in the 2010 vote based on Repealing oblabbercare !!!!

Holy ................ !

Jumpin Catfish Andy !
His brain is gone. He can debate pretty well, but the rest of his brain is duck soup.

Gorges - Thank you but it wrote itself.

Andy - Right now I see him perhaps as a distraction at the table, like a diner who insists that his PB&J is really filet mignon.

Kid - as Scripture warns us: A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways and a man cannot serve two masters. Newt is whipped on one hand by his wife and on the other by his ambition. He shall keep neither.

The real Newt came forward in the last few years. He's a bleeding heart RINO that should go back to sitting in his rocking chair while his unblinking bride spends his money.

Uhrm, she doesn't have to blink! She is a jazzy staffer home-breaker who made it with a congressmen/academic! She can act every bit the BRAT she is, who are you! :p

Newt seems great. But as the old saying goes, the more you know the more you love, in reverse, is the truth. He is what I call the academic version of Hollywood's Schwarzenegger. All one liners, libertine living, and fictional conservativism. Plus, somehow according to Monty Python, he can't ever "get better". He's a Newt, a newt with a capital N.

Odie - Newt will fade into obscurity, except for the bling merchants chasing him around trying to collect on the neck candy his wife is wearing. They won't forget him for sure. I guess he feels she's worth it. We all know she does.

Doom - she's got the unnerving stare of a reptile with dinner in its sights. She'll feed on her little Newt until there's nothing left but bone.
