The Hollies

"Bus Stop," one of my favorite hits from the sixties. And forty-three years later they are still good.

But where's the guy with the tambourine?

Yeah, know it by heart, still. I guess... I had always hoped to meet that her. Maybe she is still there, somewhere.

Some songs take you back to a time and place long gone - for me this is one of those songs. I was 14 years old when this came out - I was just getting interested in girls and the romantic ideal - innocent and unstressed. A great memory - thanks.

Doom - by now she's talking to the pigeons and crazy as a loon.

McG - we were returning from a lovely day on Lake Ontario when one of my daughters wanted to play some Hollies songs on her iPod. We hooked it up to the car stereo and .... no Bus Stop song, just Carrie Ann and a few others that I never heard of. I just had to hear this song as soon as we got home.

I was pretty surprised that as a 24year old, the Hollies are one of her favorite groups.

Nickie - It is good to remember the old days from time to time, especially when the current ones are driving you crazy.
