Gallup released their annual state-by-state presidential approval numbers yesterday, and the results should have 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue very worried. If President Obama carries only those states where he had a net positive approval rating in 2011 (e.g. Michigan where he is up 48 percent to 44 percent), Obama would lose the 2012 election to the Republican nominee 323 electoral votes to 215.

I'll personally be extremely surprised to see this prediction become a reality.
And in the end, so what if the red team takes the field for 4 or 8 years, does their own federal government expansion and turns the whole mess unscathed back over to the democrats so they can pick up where they left off.
Gag me with a nonexistent spoon.
Sorry for the realism.
Kid - I'll take Stupid Dead People for $400
Teresa - that'll be better than angst and tonic.
I'll take all the good news I can get.
Let's keep it positive, Gallup: "America win" rather than "Obama loss".
It all depends on the economy. Economy= 9% unemployment= Obama loses * Economy= 8% (and lower)=Obama reelected
