From the American Thinker:
A shocking development is rocking the Obama campaign, as a reliably supportive media outlet has published a cover story with the shocking caption, "Hit the Road, Barack: Why We Need a New President." This from Newsweek, a magazine which all too recently published a cover depicting Mr. Obama with a rainbow colored halo and the caption "The First Gay President."
Even more important than the devastating content of the cover story is where it was published. Newsweek is published by Tina Brown, long a fixture of the media social scene, a trendsetter. The cover story represents a serious breach in the cofferdam erected around Obama and the progressive cause. It constitutes recognition that this particular emperor actually has no clothes.

Egad! What is the world coming to?
The big money is not buying into oBAMa this time either, unless they're lying about donations.
Gorges - just a bit of temporary sanity. Not to worry, they'll be back to normal in no time.
Kid - Soros and his minions will not allow Obama to run out of money. He still has over $100 million to play with, but that's peanuts compared to what he spent in 08. Since he didn't accept federal campaign $ we still don't know the full extent of foreign contributions.
Another possible explanation for Newsweek's cover is that Tina needs to sell magazines. There's nothing like controversy to accomplish that ... especially when you've got a dying publication.
Except the piece is written by Niall Ferguson, who is actually a conservative, and was an advisor to McCain in 2008, so it's not like this is a liberal calling for Obama to be thrown out of office, this guy has never supported Obama.
LA - Tina Brown is also a close friend of Hillary Clinton. This could be a form of payback for the 2008 campaign.
Tee - Niall is a distinguished Harvard history professor so you are wrong on two accounts; neither McCain nor Ferguson are conservatives. What is really news here is that Newsweek, a reliable knee jerk liberal publication, published an article criticizing Obama and put it on the front page. Who actually wrote it is almost immaterial.
"Niall is a distinguished Harvard history professor so you are wrong on two accounts; neither McCain nor Ferguson are conservatives"
Wow, irony overload, sig94 uses the "no true Scotsman" fallacy when referring to an actual Scotsman.
You can move the goalposts all you like, but I'll bet you voted for McCain in 2008, which makes you. . . what? And what about the former governor of the bluest state in the union, the one who passed controversial health care law, a certain Willard "Mitt" Romney-- is HE a conservative?
Just because Ferguson teaches at Harvard does not automatically make him a liberal, he is also a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, a conservative/libertarian think tank. In fact there are plenty of conservatives teaching at Harvard and other so-called "liberal arts" colleges. You can change the definition of "conservative" to suit your argument, but you won't find any liberals who say Ferguson is a liberal.
Newsweek, like any other magazine, will print anything it thinks will sell papers, you can bet that between now and the election they will print stuff that eviscerates Romney too.
Ha Ha, someone please flush that commode , and don't leave any floater's !.
